Poly sounded better for me. The voice is fuller. Although it definitely needs to be updated as it is old. If it had the features of the Yealink (adjustable ear hook, USB C, better battery life, etc.), it will be amazing.
Thanks! I've been waiting for this comparison between these 2 earpieces. Although the technology and features of the Yealink BH71 are nicer and newer, strictly listening to the performance of the microphones with the different background noises, I thought the Poly Voyager 5200 sounded clearer and louder. I own the Yealink BH71 and am happy with it but it took a long time to choose between that and the Poly Voyager 5200. I had purchased my BH71 from Headset Advisor when it first came out and now see the prices have dropped since then so it looks like a good time to buy for people who are still looking.
i have both of them - in everyday use poly much better . yeahlink always disconnect from my pixel phone after 1 minute inactivity and always stay disconnected from phone and i cannot pickup incoming call . yeahlink has better coverage and distance because of newer bt version
The Poly Voyager 5200 is a nice product with a great mic for a wireless headset (most competitors are terribly compressed or muddy) and it seems to work well on MOST devices... unless it doesn't. I picked one up after hearing the mic quality in this video, but learned the hard way that it struggles with some wireless connections at times where it will lag out and get stuck in an endless loop of stuttering static and popping during calls, although this could be a problem specific to certain devices you're connecting to, rather than the headset. I did not use their Poly BT700 USB dongle, but from what I gather it works decently, so I may end up having to get one. The 5200 in my experience won't re-sync the connection to a standard bluetooth connection once it gets garbled, it just continues to lag out and stutter unless you power cycle the earpiece by turning it off and then back on. But the popping just inevitably ends up happening again after a few minutes. And yes, I used the Poly Lens app to verify that the firmware is current, and yes the stuttering happens even though I'm only sitting a few feet from the laptop with no obstructions. It also worked just fine from over thirty feet away when paired with a mobile phone, so connection distance is not the problem. There's something about certain bluetooth adapters on certain notebooks that just can't maintain a working connection to this thing, and there is no useful or actionable support advice from Poly/HP about potential configuration setting changes for Windows 11 to get this thing to maintain a reliable connection like it does with other devices from better manufacturers. When I pair it to other mobile devices like phones or tablets from Samsung and Apple, this problem doesn't happen at all and it works great, but if you're using this thing in a work situation with a "budget-conscious" company-furnished Microsoft Windows 11 laptop from Lenovo/HP/Dell (as I assume most people are probably intending to) then there's half a chance the wireless adapter in most of these garbage notebooks may not be up to par, and there's little guarantee that a firmware update is going to do anything to improve that and it may need that Poly BT700 adapter to get it to work as expected. Just food for thought and something to bear in mind.
Wow thanks for sharing all of your feedback. This seems to be common when customers connect bluetooth directly to a computer doesn't have the most reliable connection that's why the usb adapter is included with the model that is designed for connecting to the computer. Thanks for your feedback.
Any thoughts or review plan on Huawei freebuds Pro 3? Heard it's mic and call quality one of the best. Reddit people says UA-cam channels don't review because no sponsorship or affiliate program?
Hmmm this is the first request for us to do this review and it looks interesting as far as the mic goes. However this is more of a consumer product designed for individual use rather than for business use which we typically focus on. But we will consider reviewing this in the future as it seems interesting.
@HeadsetAdvisor Maybe it was some other spreadsheet, like Google Sheet. You wrote down the dimensions of the headphones there, which you measured on the helmet :)

agree your point, Voyager 5200 has a fuller sound than Yealink, I have Voyager 5200 and it's working fine & love it.

Would love a review of the Tilde Evo now that they are in stock. I may pick it up if it's truly way better than the first one.

Usb-c for me
Are there models like this which have 2 earpieces?
@@Geoff-r6j not that we’re aware of
Hey, can you please share with me your Excel file with mesures of some headphones?
I don't have an excel file. What are you looking for?

I think yeslink sounded better
