DFZ: Duality Fuzz
Вставка
- Опубліковано 28 лис 2022
- The Duality is a unique fuzz pedal that contains two discrete fuzz circuits-a gated saw-tooth wave and a raunchy high-gain sound-which can be mixed together to yield a vast selection of distinct sonic textures.
Before discontinued, now reimagined; we decided to bring this gem back after years of requests. With the same circuitry, the same array of possibilities, the same crazier tones, and controlled chaos. But smaller, forthright, and bizarre.
Sharing the mechanical configuration of the B1K, we are proud to introduce our DFZ pedal, the second of its kind from an all-new SPOT lineup of pedals.

I want the regular one back please. NO internal trim pots for me please
I think the designs for these small pedals are fine, I just wish to see them bring back the regular duality a long with a bigger duality (maybe called the trinity with some extra fuzz or something) for those that like to tweak a bit more
Don’t wanna be mean cause I’m sure you all put a lot of work into this design. But I’m glad I have an old duality. It’s my favourite fuzz but I do faff around with the filter all the time depending on what tone I want and hiding the adjustment away like this would make this very inconvenient to me.
I love mine! sounds great.
Maybe that hidden pots could be embedded into a back or front side panel (and optional cover plate)?
I have the OG duality, one of the best fuzz pedals around for bass.
Yo, where’s the 2*10/2*12 combo?
2 0 2 3
Darkglass really reminds me of Apple these days, but in a bad way. Making everything "smaller" and "more modern" and "slim and sleek". Not really to my taste. But that's not even the point. Why make it so you can't even access two very important knobs? How is that user friendly? Or will there be a dongle...? The old design was just so much more practical. Really hope Darkglass remembers what got them where they are now. Great sound, not stupidly designed mini pedals.
just because you don't like it doesn't make it stupid. just don't buy it. duh. plenty of other pedals.
I want it!
I have the OG, and I like this new design a lot. I never change the settings on mine. So these new micro pedals are perfect
My wallet after buying the Photon and seeing this.
"Ah shit.....here we go again."
"I understood that reference."
Please make a Vintage Microtubes small 1 stack knob footprint pedal
That's exactly what the B1K is, its the "Spot Series" edition of the Vintage Microtubes.
@@Flipside-music Hi. What does it mean "Spot Series"? Sorry I didn´t catch that. B1K It´s a simplified version of the B3K, not the VMT
Horrible...and why...have to remove to make changes to setting in the back?...loosing interest in DG:(
*losing
Just why hide those "knobs" and make them unusable... This is getting silly know not gonna lie. Crappy "Design" over function, who does this remind me off...
Tbh I really look for designs like this: those “under the hood” are parameters that once I got the way I like, I’d never change. This solution (that I already appreciated with the B1K) helps me being consistent with my sound when touring, in fact it is impossible to involuntary mess with those knobs, while playing live or perhaps transporting my pedalboard.
No more tape over the knobs, a total relief for me.
Moreover, if you prefer a “classic” pedal layout, the old duality is still out there, not officially produced, but you can find tons of second handed.
I don’t believe this is “crappy design” overall, but more like a design not suitable for your needs
@@jacopobasso5457 I get your point, but what if you want to change basses? Then you have to take the pedal off the board and open it up to adjust. That doesn’t make sense to me.
Why so bitter
I think this is designed to be a more "set and forget" pedal. I tend to this myself with most distortions to the point I just got the HX stomp to recall presets. Not for everyone though, I agree.
I feel ya @Armignac
