Nice vid, the scene at 126 is typical of much of Britains railway, disused lines rotting away and infested with vegetation. The powerful roots of the Buddlia plant are ripping the brickwork of bridges, viaducts and embankment supporting walls too pieces. Why doesn't Network Rail sell the scrap and use the money to sort the vegetation infestation?
@@ngtrains8318 There has to be millions of pounds worth of scrap materials laying about the network. When the railways were real private companies all waste was sold to support the bottom line, ashes grass and even horse manure. Network Rail doesn't have a bottom line.
Definitely NOT HD quality, more like a video camera from the 80's. Interesting video tho. Please try changing the settings on your camera to 1080P if you're gonna offer future vids in HD format
@@JacobsTrainVideos I would have thought that having a UA-cam channel you would invest in a proper camera. It doesn't have to be lots of money. You can buy a basic 4k camera for under £50 if you search, or even better, go to CEX and get a better second hand camera with the standard 2 year warranty.
Cheers for the video. Very interesting.
thanks
Great shot just subbed
anyone know what them 2 guys are doing walking down in front of the train
I think they are engineers from the train, they have to get out and switch the points manually as they aren't electrically signalled.
@@JacobsTrainVideos ah that would make sence :) thank you for your reply

Thanks. I have often wandered what network rail could do with all the scrap metal. They have enough of it lying around the place
