I speak in tongues more than most...but the Church in America has erred ....On one hand, the Church errors when they teach "Cessastionalism" (Gifts/Signs have ceased). This is a doctrine of Devils that many well-meaning but inexperienced men of God have been teaching. On the other hand, those who speak in Tongues have erred in how and when they speak in Tongues. Christ knows Tongues exists until He returns from the Eastern Sky... but He also instructs us to be orderly...I see 3 scriptural manifestation of Tongues....Pentecost, Messages in Tongues with Interpretation, and Praying in the Spirit. These are all Tongues. Praying in the Spirit is between a person and God and should NOT be allowed to be heard in the Assembly UNLESS one interprets. If you do not interpret and allow Praying in the Spirit, you are not managing the Babes in Christ well.... Do you let all your children cry without answering them? Then why do you allow praying in the Spirit without interpretation? Would you not rather pray to interpret the Tongues and in so doing, EDIFY the ENtire Church? I appeal to you Sir as a Brother. I know what the Devil will say if there is not Orderly Worship regarding the speaking of Tongues...Babes cry to their Father, but pray their Father for the interpretation so that the whole church be Edified and so that Order and mutual building up may occur.
