Kitana and Sub-Zero easily had the best endings in the whole game. They became friends with their programmed rivals and fought together for the good of mankind!
Mileena should have gotten a redemption arc rather than being treated as a monster. She did want a family, and despite Shao Kahn referring to her as a daughter, he only cares about her as an extension of his legacy. There should have been an arc where Kitana warns Mileena she will never receive true love or acceptance from Shao.

@@slylancey Hopefully. Mileena was treated as a villain even though characters in MK and Injustice who did worse things than her (Harley Quinn and Kotal) both got to be counted among the good guys. She deserved a redemption more than they did.

after just finishing GOW Ragnarok first playthrough last month, this ending is canon to Kratos story -- Raiden and Fujin showing him respect is what made him calm down through the few centuries changing his outlook and his voice before arriving to midgard
I love how Quan Chi just revives Shao Kahn and Shao Kahn kills an army and an elder god on his own.
I love this kitana ending, love how she felt pity for mileena and cared for her

Johnny Cage: Cage's explodes in Green stuff and then is taught by the Realm of Order to become the Ulitmate Mortal? Coming soon: The Green Cage.
Kabal: Comes close to death from victory, Demands Kano to find his Eye Doctor, and is reformed with shiny, new, living metal. Cool.
Kano: Gains Global communication, gets trapped by Jax's hacking, just for his consciousness to spread like a virus and become Kanonet. Thanks Jax, you caused Judgement Day.
Kenshi: Destroys Kahn, wants to kill Shang Tsung, finds him and kills him in cold, soul-filled blood. He was an ass anyway.
Kitana: Finds out the truth of Kahn's deadly actions, forms the Triple Alliance (of Badass Princesses), and kicks anyone's ass across the realms. Oh yes.
Kratos: Kills Khan, becomes respected by Elder Gods (something that he never expected), just to be a warmongering chap. Unbelievable.
Kung Lao: Defeats Kahn (and does not die), sees past events, and achieves the title of Greatness. How... original.
Liu Kang: Defeats Kahn, demands to be the New Raiden, and defeats Raiden to have his wish granted..... Fire God Raiden confirmed!
Mileena: Shang Tsung tries to defeat his creation, Mileena's wrath killed him, and becomes an ungodly abomination. Should I say Yes or No to this?
Nightwolf: Nightwolf Wins, ANIMALITY!
Noob Saibot (Bi-Han): Noob becomes free from Shang Tsung, forms a deadly alliance with Havik, defeats every realm, and becomes leader of the Netherrealm. Bi-Han is a Bitch.
Quan Chi: Empowers the Brotherhood of Shadows, causes the resurgence of Shinnok, anticipates his betrayal and defeats Shinnok with Shao Kahn as his Enforcer! Now that's Scary.
Raiden: Raiden divides his soul to 4 great figures and... that's about it.... How does Raiden, the ELDER GOD OF THUNDER, get treated LIKE THIS?!
Rain: Drowns Shao Kahn, is thanked by Raiden as Son of Argus, and..... becomes the new Kahn. Hail Rain Kahn!
Reptile: Becomes Feared by everyone, convinces Shang Tsung to reform his reptilian race, and leads his forces against anyone who dare challenges him. Awesome work, Reptile!
Scorpion: Goes to his Clan's home, Finds Quan Chi and kills him,, avenging his deadly actions. Scorpion can finally rest in peace!
Sektor: Defeats Lin Keui GODS, kills his father, and becomes the Grandmaster.... ungrateful, robotic bastard.
Shang Tsung: Flees to Outworld, tries to control his power from killing Kahn, gets trained by... Bo Rai Fart and must defeat Fire God Liu Kang. Unusual to say to least.
Sheeva: She recognizes her kind's extinction, finds them a new world, and becomes.... the queen of Australia? Sheeva for 🇦🇺 baby!
Sindel: Kahn's spell is broken, restores her home land to its former glory, and is sworn allegiance by the gods.... Long live Edenia and its Great Queen!
Skarlet: Destroys Kahn, realizes Quan Chi's plan to defeat Outworld, uses his Blood to become a Blood-hungry warrior and avenges Quan Chi. Chi really dies a lot in these endings.
Smoke: Realizes his true history and... his destiny is fulfilled..... that's as blank as fog.
Sonya Blade: Leaves the Special Forces and is told by her undead father's soul to kick all of Shao Kahn's army asses. The True Fighter indeed.
Stryker: Despite doing "his job," he became the world's Robocop, getting books, action figures, and even a chance to have a film in his honor.... only to realize asshole Johnny Cage would play him so he said Hell No!
Sub-Zero: The Fire and Ice Deadly Combo! Oh yes.
Raiden isn't an Elder God.

I suppose none of them. You could argue that, in a way, Smoke's and Rain's endings are somewhat canon to a degree, since they find out about their origins. Oh, yeah, that's right, I forgot to mention Sektor's ending - minus defeating Shao Kahn, he actually did kill his father and take over the Lin Kuei, until Sub-Zero returned and defeated him, as was the case in both the original timeline, and the second one.
After defeated Shao Kahn, Cyber Sub Zero gain a Rightful power from emperor Dark Magic. He thought that Maybe it would be useful for him to protect the Lin Kuei. But he didn't realize that, Shao Khan defeated was the emperor wants all along. With emperor Power, Cyber Sub Zero changed one by one. He had became a new emperor "Cyber Shao Khan". With the power of suffer he will once again conquer the Earthrealm by becoming their Ally.

I like nightwolf's ending is my favorite. Quan chi was 💯 correct in his actions. I wouldn't use "forgive" but "outsmarted" shinok. Raiden's ending is awesome; opens up many storyline. Rain''s about right, Raiden can make serious errors; More storytelling openings, including Raiden's attempt to fix his usual perceptive judgement to atone For his blunder. Lui Kang had power hunger, so Shang sung's ending is more opportunity for story. Stryker's is just frigging the best of the lot and a great well earned burn on Cage.
