Some folks just do not understand the power of social media. You guys are doing a great job promoting local businesses and their suppliers of local home grown ingredients. I am 72 and started my working life promoting businesses in Los Angeles via advertising. You guys have been so successful in what you are doing because your motives are pure, you really are passionate foodies and you have such a great work ethic. I am hoping to move back to Oahu this coming year to Kapolei or Ewa Beach again. You provide a lot of enjoyment for many. Keep it up. Heard the bowling alley had incredible food but missed getting there. Putting it on my list...lol. Did not know they had fab desserts.
Guys, I've been stuck here in Australia for almost 2 1/2 years and watching you guys dig into those plate lunches makes me so homesick and very hungry. Can't wait to get back to the islands and start checking out all those places you guys go to eat. Mahalo.
This was by far, my favorite video from you guys!! Yes, the food was incredible, but the narrative was hilarious!!! When Felix said "tardiness", I nearly lost it!! I cracked up so much, I'm pretty sure my next door neighbor heard me. Also, the look Amanda gave when she took a bite of the Lemon Bar. Oh man, that was so funny! Guys, I must say, those plate lunches were epic!!! They looked huge, and they looked delicious!!! I really want to try the smoked meat and the ribs!!! The crazy rice looked so good too!!! Yeah I mean support your local business for islanders, but for tourists, take notes and the addresses of these eateries, rent a vehicle and go have a pleasant new food experience. If you were visiting for a week or 10 days you could easily not run out of new places to go. Too bad the one business that wasn't trusting enough and missed out. In Hawaii, the item is called manapua. Its name is a shortening of the Hawaiian mea ʻono puaʻa, meaning "delicious pork thing". On the US mainland, the Chinese term is commonly used. The Chinese immigrants brought this dim sum item with them when they were brought over as plantation workers.

You need to review the OXTAIL SOUP at Aiea Bowl!
Ok - so I have a recipe for the mainland version of that pumpkin cake - I need to send it to you - it's kinda dangerous b'cuz it's almost too easy to make! Yum! Over here its called Pumpkin Pudding Cake - itz da bomb! 😋
Born and raised in Honolulu but never ate there. I gotta go!
Wow! Yes! Gotta go! Hope you enjoy, thanks for watching🤙🏼
What the heck they in business for if they dont want to share their product with the community. How nice to have a busy, successful business. Food business is tough. Labor intensive and time consuming artistic creations. Loved the massive lunches and have always enjoyed Aiea Bowl. Thanks For the video.
They may not be wanting exposure on a bigger scale right now or they may not want their business to attract many tourist so that they can stay localized for their loyal customers (hence , there’s many possibilities. Enjoy your content!
More plate lunches!!
We got you! Stay tuned cuz we got more coming🤙🏼
I haven't tried the Pumpkin Crunch Cake at Alleys yet, but I still favor Ani's Sweet Potato Haupia Pie over all others.
In Aiea shopping center you missed the roast duck right when you get off the escalator and the almond duck at Aiea chop suey

I’m no longer on Oahu but I watched someone else do a review on a Chamorro food truck located at waikele shopping center.
@@iLoV3HeLLoKiTtY Hi Diane, my sister tried it before the pandemic and said the food was really good.
