    Amber changing to Red would be a good opinion. Amber to Blue for snow removal too.

    For all types of road crews Michigan has gone to Amber and Green. Could make a killing selling green/amber to the state and every city, town and private company that does road work in Michigan.

    Any plans for bringing red to the market? Red white would be amazing for first responders in the US

    I find it hard to believe that Federal Signal will allow these to be sold in their backyard without some sort of legal circus, given this is a 1 for 1 competitor to an SLR pod.

      Australia isn't exactly americas backyard, what are you talking about? Also, Federal Signal is a company and nothing more. They have no bussiness telling other companies what they can or cannot sell. Don't believe me? Well, they sell these in the USA already.

    Unfortunately, LED beacons are not as bright (you can barely see them in the daytime) and the bulbs are very unreliable. Hard pass. I'll stick with my halogen.

    LED IS HORRIBLE. Halogen is superior. So what if you have to change a light bulb every once in a while. Halogen RULES SUPERIOR !

      As someone whom has worked in emergency services since the days of Hella beacons and using trailer lights as warning flashers, I have to disagree. LED are far more visible, use much less power, don’t lead to flat batteries as often, don’t require upgraded alternators and electrical systems to operate.

    • @michaeljavert4635

      @@craigclaassen7346 As someone that used to be a police explorer, a security officer and a police officer halogens get one's attention. While LED does use less power, it also produces BLINDING flashes, no rotating beams, and they're not more visible.
      As for flat batteries, I never had that problem. We knew better to leave the engines running when lights and warning signals were activated.
      LED is fine for some things, maybe even as secondary or aux lighting but not as primary lighting. Also LED induces headaches, as bad as fluorescent lighting. Can't even stand to watch TV or work on these computers as much anymore either.

    Unfortunately LED Lights SUCK. Just like when you buy that 10 year LED lightbulb for your house (at 3x the price of a regular bulb) and it always burns out in 3-4 months. I've never had an LED light actually LAST. I'll take halogen over LED anyday !

    • @stampeedvalkyrie
      @stampeedvalkyrie 11 місяців тому

      LED failure typically occurs because the unit cannot dissipate the heat generated fast enough. This shortens the Diodes lifespan, I would image this light would have similar problems unless is has good heatsinks and airflow.

    • @baddriversofthenorcalarea500

      I have never once had an LED light fail, whereas halogens fail constantly.

    • @Airtouch67
      @Airtouch67 9 місяців тому

      Well halogens never "fail" they simply burn out just like any other light bulb source. If you have never had an LED light fail, well you are 1 in million my friend, because that is not the norm at all.
