First of all, thank for this review. Fantastic, and keep up the good work! (I have whole list of unreviewed chairs but let's not get into that!). But before I start, I'd like to add that I'm quite short (5'6") and at the moment somewhat around 75 kg. Many reviews tend to leave out this information since no (office) chair is a one-size-fits-all deal. I'd like to focus on the cons with this chair (because I believe this is the real reason people actually read reviews in the first place - otherwise it's just advertising). Since most other reviews have remarked on the same issues I think it's quite safe to say that - YES, the headrest leans to far back, YES the armrests needs a (better) lock position and YES, the lumbar support is, at least for me, a real mess! In addition I find the armrests leaning way to much forward (for some less ergonomic reason) and the "soft" plastic on them a bit sticky as well. But perhaps that's just me. And I agree with you that the indentations on the leaning positions are bit off. I'd like to see additional ones or perhaps a free lock mode or something. Well, it has potential for improvements. So since everybody already knows the pros by now my question is if the cons, to some extent, are "sacrifices" for the pros? Would a less simple install offer a more customization? Or would a couple of euros more solve the lumbar support issues or the armrests stability, I have no idea. I look at other chairs a go... nah, same plastic, must be same thing. It becomes even more complicated since coming from an old chair into a new one also is somewhat like buying shoes. It takes some time to getting used to. At least for me. Hence not really knowing if you bought the right one. Well, I end up with it like this. Use it for what it's for. Office work. Possibly some gaming. Use a the relax chair or your bed if you like watching films! Otherwise you'll just be stuck with the constant "wrong" settings.
I believe the next generation of this chair will be amazing...fix all the little things we don't like. Hopefully it comes out in 2025 I'll definitely review it. 😁 Also sorry for the late reply I thought for sure I already reply lol
The chair is alright, the only thing I can’t deal with is the lumbar support. No matter the height of the support, it kills my lower back. Does anyone else have this problem? Will I get used to it? Thanks
@@AtHomewithLucas Well, I want to like it…. But the seat is super uncomfortable. I even ordered an extra seat cushion to put on top and it’s just kind of unbearable. It sucks because the back and headrest feel so good. Usually those are the spots that are problem areas for me. I’m going to try to give it a few more days and see if it breaks in but I’m not optimistic.
@@tucco2097 got mien today and i agree but I do believe it will break in and the cushion will fit better. You have 30 days with it with amazon so just try it out.
I've heard that the headrest can be tilted forward, but I haven't seen any footage showing this. Can you confirm if this is possible? It might solve the problem of the headrest sitting too far back.
Hi, I liked your review, also the short on the headrest that can be tilted forward and I wanted to ask you about your impression as a user. I just received the Chair....and you can see that it is a Quality chair. The only defect that I found, and I don't even know if it is a defect, is that when the backrest is blocked if I rest my back on the backrest the latter has a little play backwards and this movement causes a metallic noise... does yours do the same? Is it normal? Before I had a Ticova that I returned, but this is a completely different chair. I repeat compared to the other one it is really from another planet, but the Ticova when it was blocked and I leaned on it did not move even 1mm. Thanks in advance for your eventual reply.
@ozebik the lumbar support is kinda the weakest part of this chair. It's small and plastic. It adjusts to a max 7 or 8 inches from the seat height and low to a few inches about seat height. I'd say if you need lumbar support from a chair, maybe skip this one.
@@AtHomewithLucas yes! I try even moving how far the bottom seat is move forward and still causes a lot of pain. I had to cut the whole part off. Unfortunately I should have read the comments on other videos for this chair cause a lot of people are complaining about the same thing
I really don't understand the hype for this 300$ US chair, the armrest should lock, the lumbar support is plastic and most importantly, you have a very bad posture on this chair, your back is round and recessed cause there's too much incline on the back support, it just looks terrible. You need a 90 degrees position while working and it's very not the case. 😢
I'll be reviewing their other chair colamyhome.com/products/executive-big-and-tall-office-chair-500-lbs-5207?_pos=1&_sid=28de72191&_ss=r soon so hit that subscribe button to see it.
I bought this chair a couple of days ago and am most likely going to send it back. I'm very disappointed. My butt, back and legs really hurt after sitting on it for 30 minutes. There is no back or body support. Very bad chair. Not worth 100 dollars. The head support is absolutely rubbish. Any other chair, even a kitchen one, will be better than this one. I'm telling you honestly!
1. Very hard seat. You won't be able to sit on it for long. 2. Very hard back. You won't be able to lean on it comfortably. 3. Unnatural back position. I would like to pull the back a little forward or backward, but this is impossible. 4. The shape of the seat is disgusting. There is no support for my legs, they seem to hang and I can’t find the right height. And most likely this is impossible. 5. There is no lateral support for the back and butt. You will strain your back to sit upright. In general, as I said, this chair is just garbage. The only good thing about it is the adjustment mechanism and the metal stand.
@@AtHomewithLucas >Can I ask how tall are you? But it is does not matter, because all the issues with this chair are not connected with my height. The hardness of the back and pillow, the poor seat and the lack of any ergonomics for sitting for a long time are not related to my height.
do you recommend different wheels for wood floors? What is the diameter of the current wheels?
I don't have wood floors so I can't say. Are you worried about scratches?
They are just under 3 inches diameter
Hope I covered everything. If not please comment and I'll get back to you asap ❤

I want to buy this chair, so I’m watching review nonstop to hype myself up, I’ll wait for Black Friday since it’s close
Yeah it's a great chair. I'm sure the company will discount it hard for Black Friday. 💯😁
Hello!
Thanks for the review. How hard is the foam cushion? Soft, rather soft, medium hard, rather hard or hard?
It starts off a little firm (not hard) but then it get a little softer as you use it. I'm 160lbs and 5'10"
thank you for pointing out your dislikes because they match mine. I was going to buy it now I am still looking
Hey no problem happy to help
Just got this delivered today. Got it on sale on Amazon for $250 and about to set it up.
Awesome! That's a great deal. Keep me updated on how you like it. 💯😁

Yes, it moves forward quite a bit. Sorry, I forgot to add it in the video. It moves forward about 4 inches.

Yes I can really get the headrest to fit me perfectly since figuring that out.

Lucas what about that noise I mentioned?
does yours make that too?
Oh sorry I totally forgot to reply...yes a little noise but only if you really rock back. Just normal moving in the chair doesn't make the sound.

came for the chair, stayed for the eyes n thighs 😂
Lol thanks
it's a shame doesn't have a footrest
Yeah like one that flips out from under the seat. I've seen a bunch that do that.
