Water into Hydrogen - How to make a Simple Hydrogen Generator - hho

  • In today’s video, I will show you how to turn water into hydrogen and oxygen to generate HHO gas. In this video, I separate the water molecules, which are hydrogen and oxygen, by electrolysing water, to produced gas.
Note: you can also use potassium hydroxide powder or drain cleaner or salt to conduct water. But if you use salt the color of the water will turn brown due to the production of hydroxide ions. Also, the efficiency of the drain cleaner solution is stronger. Hope you like this simple hho generator I made, thanks for watching see you in the next diy video.

I'm actually really glad that you made this video. When I was a kid before UA-cam I made one of these without a flashback arrester which thankfully you included And the very first time I put a flame to the hose it exploded the entire thing apart and everybody came out saying are you okay and I could barely understand what they were trying to say. 11-year-old me was wild😅

I had a friend do something similar as a young teen. Apparently he managed to flash-fry off his eyebrows. I didn't get quite as extreme when I tried it myself as a kid, but I took it a step further and used the DC output of my model train power supply. I kept the anodes and cathodes separate so I got two inverted glasses containing oxygen and hydrogen.

It would be nice for some narration and explanation of the materials used and why. Does the weight/mass of the water change with the extraction of the hydrogen molecules? If so, how long would such a volume of water last? Interesting video, can't wait to see more from your channel, thanks for sharing!

The only way with this kind of set up is to have the anode and cathode separated with each in a vessel that lets the individual gases float up but shares the electrolyted water for conduction. For those who haven't seen that sort of set up, Google shows just how simple it is, even if it is a bit more complex than this.

How you make a vehicle that runs on water. You use hydrolysis to create hydrogen gas from water. The combustion engine burns hydrogen for fuel. Old science that's been kept down so the oil industry can continue to make huge profits. This tech was developed in the 90s by a man named Stanley Meyer.

So it would run on electricity , like BEV but would use about 3 times more power and had to have a huge water tank and gas tank

So it's that easy to make hydrogen yet they still don't have hydrogen cars main stream?!

Because it competes with petroleum fuels and $$.

The gas collected as a result of this setup will be a mixture of oxygen and hydrogen. Isn't it?

Yes Oxy-Hydrogen gas, which is 2 parts Hydrogen (H2) and 1 part Oxygen (02).

Yes, but due to thermodynamic losses, the final result is 15% less power delivered for the same amount of fuel. In automotive terms, you get a 15% loss in fuel efficiency.

How long will it take to fill up hydrogen car using this method?

    • @harissohail-lh7
      @harissohail-lh7 Місяць тому

you don't need to full up hydrogen car because it will be dangerous, car will only used hydrogen directly after it is created through electrolysis process.
