    The sacred six.
Lechonk - HP (beginning area + various plains)
    Shinx - ATK (Mesagoza East)
    Tarountula - DEF (beginning area)
Litleo - SP.ATK (pokemon center on the way to electric gym - Mesagoza East has them as rare encounters)
Hoppip - SP.DEF (Beginning area or same area as Litleo + Mesagoza West)
Deerling - Speed (Same area as Litleo)
    Bonus-
    Paldean Tauros (ATK + Speed)
Yungoos (ATK - Mesagoza West Plains)
Mareep (SP.ATK - Mesagoza West Plains)
Rookidee (Speed - Mesagoza East - they can rarely spawn as a swarm of 5 with the flying encounter type sandwich buff)
Sandwiches can aid their spawn rates if you match their types.
Power items are always good for low level farms cause you can get an EV trained pokemon in as little as 5 minutes since they give 8 EVs instead of 4 EVs (As of Gen 7). In the long run, you save money compared to buying vitamins. Most mons only need to be level 20-25 to OHKO the other mons mentioned above as they are low level zones.
To me, EV training is far easier than it was in Sword + Shield. This open world mechanic fixed a lot of problems the wild area had.
Nacli can be a problem due to Sturdy which makes defense EV training a bit of a problem.

At this point you don't even need to farm EVs to breed a Pokemon. You're not even breeding them. Farm, catch the Pokemon you like and bam turn it into a beast with your medicine and your Exp candies

A basic version to look at EV’s and natures: EV’s increase a stat by a flat amount, while natures increase a stat by a percentage. This means that natures are more efficient the higher your stat is. For defensive stats this is especially important because getting the right nature can make a huge difference since it will allow you to spend a huge extra amount of EV’s elsewhere. On a Pokémon like blissey having max defense EV’s will nearly double your defense because her base defense is so low, which means you reduce the physical damage you take by almost 50%, which is why it’s not very good to have a +defense nature on blissey but it’s very good to have 252 defense on her

Holy moly things have really evolved from my days of biking eggs up and down in Solaceon Town to hatch perfect IVs in gen 4. Also growing a surplus of all the berries to lower all IVs and building EVs from the ground up battling pokemon with a Macho Brace or a Band.
Now its just, Raid, Bottlecap, Hypertrain or Feathers.
At least vitamins still exist, I understand those.
Edit: Now you change the nature too. I remember having to spend hours breeding my brother a perfect IV Nature Togepi with Serene Grace; what an ordeal.
    Kids these days wouldn't understand.
And thats not even mentioning egg move breeding.

The only thing missing from hyper training is a way to get No Good IVs. Although, the only stats I could see people using that on are attack, to help special attackers avoid Foul Play, and speed, to get the best possible damage on Gyro Ball. Otherwise you're only going to want a Best on your stats. It is nice that you can 1) buy bottle caps for regular money, and 2) hyper train at level 50 instead of 100, because that means you don't need to grind as much since your team is going to be close to, or more likely at or above, level 50 by the end of the game.
Can't wait for How to Use. I hope you actually do all the new Pokémon this time after cutting gen 8 short. Maybe you could finish it?

1 thing to remember about tera types is that you only need 1 pokemon on your team with the optimized tera type.
You made a good point about competitive being more accessible to casual players now but I also think that making it so easy and streamlined undermines cheaters in that the benefit to risk ratio shifts heavily in favor of risk.

      @haku8135 Рік тому

Very importantly, with enough time dedicated to it, you can basically FORCE any shiny you have to be perfect for competitive.
Doesn't have the hidden ability it needs? Get over to the tera raids and get a patch!
Its IVs suck? Hyper train that sucker!
Wrong nature? Get on down to your local pharmacy.
Even the MOVES can be changed ENTIRELY in your menu, so you don't have to fly around the map to find the move reminder.

I think I would be a lot better at this game- if I didn't have to remember so much at once- like the type chart for instance- I can't, just can't. Then what's worse is thinking about every move you could be running and what pokemon you might be switching to and what items they might have- only for my opponent to just press the same button they did last turn because why not

Instead of my name it says @user- *ID number* (not going to type it out in case it's sensitive information) although it might not be since I'm not the only "@user" apparently! It's normal when I check my reply to replies notifications but in the actual comments it's messed up? I think UA-cam is broken again, if it's ever _not_ broken.

You can't reset ivs, but there are 6 stat reducing berries you can use to change your evs around. Pomeg for hp, kelspy for attack, qualot for defense, hondew for special attack, grepa for special defense, and tamato for speed

My head starts hurting every time anyone explains EVs😞 I’ve been playing since Pokémon Red hit stores, but I didn’t get to battle online until a few years back. I just can’t understand it, and I blame my poor math skills, and I wish I could understand it so that battling is actually fun.

In generation 5, there was promotional code you could get for BW2 depending on where you bought your game in various countries. That code let you find and catch a Pikachu in the Entree Forest where you could use a Dream Ball. This Pikachu could then be transferred to generation 6 via Pokemon Bank at the time.
    Again, on Bulbapedia:
Page Description: "The following is a list of Pokémon given away during Global Link promotions. Pokémon received from promotions were displayed on the Friend Board until the next time the player used Game Sync, when they would be sent to the Entree Forest where they could be caught."
Pikachu's listing: "The password was obtainable in Black 2 or White 2 copies purchased at Toys "R" Us stores in Germany, GameStop stores in Italy, and from * from November 12 to December 31, 2012."
I highly recommend you revise your researching strategies before you reply to me again. You clearly don't know what you're talking about historically or mathematically.
(EDIT): This comment kept getting deleted when I tried to reply in the pinned comment thread on the related video, so I'm gonna try to post it here... The reply to what you left for me 2 hours ago.
