I just went x-3 with the deck yesterday at Anaheim regionals losing thr last round, deck is definitely solid but focusing on consistency is more important than raising the ceiling imo. I bricked quite a bit through out the day. I wasn't even playing armored xyz. Just played the deepsea king Nice list tho and congrats
I saw a list from Pak that intrigued me, he used White aura porpoise and ghoti shif. Using coelacanth under droll to end on wayyyy more than they should do be able too. Draghite toad nept king etc. def going to try it out. White aura porpoise has crazy synergy with coelacanth cunce it will revive double pike, which you get off of ceolocanth
Do we know what the fuwalos combo he's referring to is? I can't figure out a line that gets to Aegirine + Gaios or Dweller that doesn't give a ton of draws, even with the moulin rip 2. I'm working on a spreadsheet/video and will credit anyone who can help me figure it out.
I know for a fact if I plugged this list into a test hand simulator I’d brick 6/10 hands. Insane you went undefeated with all that non engine, good work
You wouldn't brick that often. a lot of these cards that are seen as "bricks" just actually aren't on the simple fact they're water and can be pitched for multiple effects. statistically you should be seeing full combo roughly 85% of the time (assuming you go un-interrupted, but there are ways to play through interruptions as well. yes i ran the numbers, i'm currently working on a massive combo tutorial for the deck). A lot of the cards people think are "bricks" can actually be used to combo very easily.
@@SuperInsaiyan18I’m more referring to all my test hands and playing with similar lists the past couple weeks getting a LOT of unplayable hands because I’m drawing 2-3 hand traps and 2-3 extenders with no starters. But lemme know when your combo tutorial drops, I’d love to check it out!

@darthblastoise0098 if you play ocea, teus + any water (in this case pike) ends on: Mermail King Neptabyss, 2x toadally awesome, mermail abysslacia, icejade Gymir Aegirine, virtue stream, abyssrhine in GY to discard and draw, heavy infantry in hand + any 1 other sea serpent of your choice, and you ripped 2 out of the opps hand with moulinglacia. This combo will be in my tutorial. congratz! hm zealantis cant clear backrow btw or did you use zealantis to gain back the effects of declared type? (xyz / synchro?) against D-barrier. Or just got stopped in combo by dbarrier then went for coral+zealantis to get rid of their monster and attack with links and eff3ct monsters?
@@Zssprime yeah :D during battle phase I dont get how he stopped dbarrier with zealantis. Thanks for replying mate! Ah I see he had zealantis on the board. Genuine question, no hate. how, do you never brick without extra consistency cards? Any hand you dont open goons squad or nept is really bad. Anyways congrats on the result.
abysshrine + any mermail/atlantean + blind discard: shrine eff; summon coelacanth coelacanth summon out the pikes make toad and neptabyss link ???? profit considering that there were no other engine pieces in hand and no extenders like triaina you end on toad, an add back from neptabyss and handtraps
@adamn1126 i understand these combo although I don't think you get moulin off those? Either way they aren't really good combos. Take at least 2 discards 1 off pike/teus, and 1 off coelecanth to pass to literally 80% of hts is not good
