Redd Kross is a major influence of Teenage FanClub. Its like the Master coveting the Pupils! RK is my favorite band since 1985!

The Teenage Fanclub original has more of an earnest emotional lift to it.
The Red Kross cover has more fuzzy gonzo rockitude.
