Air down to 15psi on those dirt roads and it will be 90% smoother drive (carry a compressor to re-inflate).

Wonderful travelogue of Death Valley! Robert - you don't want to be there in the summer with 125° temperatures which turn your tires into marshmallows! Greetings from my Disneyland neighborhood here in Southern California!

Robert, all your videos are great! The 13 previous chapters of your western trip were really great! But Chapter 14, Death Valley, is spectacular!!! Can't believe the scenary. I've seen videos of this area before, but none have captured the grandeur that some of your shots did. You may not have the camera system you would like, but you certainly make the most of what you have. Great job!!

As a kid I watched the TV show Death Valley Days, sponsored by the Borax Company. I never knew there was a natural connection between the two. So, thumbs up for the educational content in another superior video.

Excellent as usual. Robert, when I watch your videos I think I'm on the National Geographic channel or PBS - very professional.

Dear Robert, you are an inspiration. My husband and I enjoy all your videos. Thank you for giving us a thumbs up for saying we can add your channel link to our website. You are the only one that has replied so far, and that means a lot. You give people who are sick and unable to travel, a way of experiencing all these beautiful places through your eyes. You certainly have a gift, you are very talented. God bless, and thanks again.

Great video. Robert on your first stop Father Crowley Vista Point you gave two tips, let me add one more. The official name of the canyon as you noted was Rainbow Canyon, but it is more popular known as "Star Wars Canyon" and the "Jedi Transition." It is called this because the U.S. Air Force & Navy train their fighter pilots there. The latest fighter jets weave through those very canyons you were looking at, and you can can observe it all from some of the overlooks at Father Crowley's. Early "Star Wars" did a lot of their action scenes there. I was hoping a few jets with their after-burners on would come streaking by and make you shake in your boots! Note at some of the overlooks you are ABOVE the jets, looking down. From some vantage points you can actually see the pilots faces. But alas, the military doesn't train there everyday so all visitors may not witness the action. Poor weather keeps the jets away too.
