I used the torque detail on my brand new Expedition. I got caught out in the rain today and I have never seen anything bead so well. Even if it's durability isn't the greatest, it doesn't matter because it was so easy to apply, and I swear I maybe only used less than 2 oz of the stuff to do the entire Expedition and it took no time to apply. I'll happily do it after every other wash if I have to. I can't speak to the other products you tested, but I'm really happy with my results.
Good review, it was good to see these two products that are marketed so heavily against Seal N Shine. Maybe do F11 next as that is another one that is beaten over our heads with marketing.
I’ve used seal n shine in the past. They have a tendency to streak. The improved version came a short time after, but a little better and still steals a little. The fragrance improved quite a bit. For the price you can’t beat it. There’s another turtle wax product is a little better. That’s the Hybrid solution ceramic spray coating. Smells better and hardly streaks like the seal n shine. Does last a bit longer through my experience. I was hesitant to order either Torque or Nexgen. I’m glad I didn’t thanks to you !!! Very informative video. Thanks again !!!
@@PurcellsProDetail thanks for your response. I was planning to try either the nexgen or torque. It’s expensive and I couldn’t see the paying the difference in the cost. The Nexgen CEO awhile back was on You Tube saying why my product sucks. That turned me off. I still might consider trying the Torque spray wax.
love what your media ! • from a tech standpoint shoot 4k on your iphone in settings set it to 4k at 30 fps - when you upload, upload that file or edit least a 2k export // in these videos im searching for prestine detail but cannot see full results due to media file viewing at 480pnhughest quality.
Hey Man... You really should have waited 24hrs for them all to fully Cure!! 😂 Great video and super informative. Thanks! I still love Seal N Shine and for the price, you can't beat it.
I wonder what would happen if you applied it the same way as a regular “ceramic coating”. Applying it wet on a pad and letting it rainbow then wiping it off.
wow.... this is the best review and TESTING that i have ever seen anyone do about these type of products... great job and you made my mind up before i spend the $$... thanks man. How does these products do on rough plastic surfaces? i used maxim SC1 on my motorcycle and it left the rough plastic ugly looking and now it is no longer black. more of a grey.
Amazing work which I’ve used the turtle seal and shine and I notice when it rains and sun comes out and dries up the car all you see is rain drops stains
@@PurcellsProDetail try it so you can see what I’m talking about. You have to let it rain on your car and let the sun do it’s job so you see what I’m talking about. Let me know please
@Purcells Pro Detail similar protection and durability to Turtle Wax Seal n Shine and Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic. but it's easier to work with.. doesn't streak like those can and gives more shine too because there's a little carnuba. many of my clients ask what I use... they say "whatever you used last time can you keep using it." that's always a good sign it works after first dry application to clean car...it pays a while. and every few washes I use it as a drying aide..1 spray per panel then towel dry. amazing affordable stuff.
@@stephenlouden480 that’s good to know because I do find the seal n shine can streak once in a while and forget about using it in direct sunlight lol but I’ll definitely have to try it
I fell for the Nextgen marketing. They got my money once (not full price) but they aren't getting it a 2nd time. Turtle Wax and Griots Garage get my money. The CX-5 is brutal w/all of the black cladding....
How Nexgen gets repeat customers is beyond me. Torgue has got better in the last couple years but it’s still bad. There’s a clear winner because of price. Plus detailers know that “ceramic” products are still curing up to 7 days later…even the Sio2 sprays. There are two other hyped( but bad😂) products out there…Shine Armour & F11 you could try.
Nexgen just markets themselves like crazy. Basically like how chemical guys push and market themselves. They attract customers that have never used a wax before, so when they try it they are blown away haha. And very true, all ceramic products need more cure time. Just wanted to show a realistic test of time for the typical average person who might purchase these. Thanks for watching and maybe I’ll test the shine Armour against these. I think I have a bottle laying around. F11.. I don’t know… I refuse to pay that much for something I know already sucks 😂 thanks for watching and check out my video about the turtle wax graphene paste wax if you haven’t already. I’m curious to see how that holds up!
@@PurcellsProDetail i enjoyed the comparison and it was a fair one. I’ve used the Graphene paste wax and I wasn’t impressed. I do use ceramic/graphene sprays…mainly Resist from Ethos and TLC2 and Deep Ice from The Last Coat. All of those are far better that the highly marketed brands. Keep up the good work!
If you do.this as a profession you should find a new job you applied them like an 80yr old women with carpletunel you have to buff and wipe with multiple passes and recoating for it to look awesome. I've used all 3 and nexgen is by far the best. You must get paid by turtle to push that walmart 💩
bro loves his washer hehe:) best vidoe ive seen in a year awesome work

Appreciate the suggestion. I hate f11 so much that I don’t even want to purchase it for testing lol but I might have to!

Not a fan of Torque although they have some new products. Love Nexgen though. Used turtle wax once in a while.
Welcome back. Great review.
Thanks for what you do.
Test "Redline Shine" by Torque
Wow, that's some great blue tape!

Lmao thanks!! And I agree! For nearly 10 bucks you just can’t beat it! Also so readily available!
lmao i waited 24 hrs kiddo
Forget about ceramic coatings. What kind of blue tape is that? 😀
Lmao I have no clue I think it’s 3m. I’ll check and circle back to you!

You wanna my LAMO?
Holy shit dude your right!!! That blue tape kicks ass!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Isn’t it just regular paint tape that we use for interior walls paint?, there’s green also…..
torque for the win!! I almost bought nexgen till i seen this video
Awesome! Thanks for watching

Thanks a bunch I appreciate that
NO PLASTIC !
System X renew. 9+ month ceramic spray. I did a test on it and seem to hold up pretty good. I never found anything to put it to the test
I’ll have to check that out I’m curious mysekf

Thank you,

Thank you much! It’s a ryobi 1900
The Torque and Seal n Shine initially are identical and nex gen is a slower sheeter
Well.. i was wondering which on was the best.. but my dad used only turtle wax.. and now i see in the video why he did.
do one with Griots 3 in 1 ceramic spray wax
I’ll have to check it out thanks!

What about swirl marks that's the most important
SiO2 is Silica. Perhaps i should buy a bottle of this and run them in the sikica analyzers we use at power plants 😂
Lol why not 🤷♂️
Seal n shine for the win
Easy Seal and Shine 11.00 and easy to get at the store!!

I've found torque to be excellent. But it is expensive.
Put it up against F11

Thanks for the real honest testing of theses products for the money and durability it’s clear who won turtle clean and shine sealant
Try F11
Tried it and not impressed!
Torque claims to correct swirl marks, didnt seem like it to me
Lol no spray sealant/wax etc can correct swirl marks. Maybe help cover them up temporarily. But I didn’t see any of that happening here!
Seal n Shine use to be a beast. Even its been weakened
Hasn't been weakened at all.
so for a tie you definately go for the value. for 10$ lol. save your money
