  • Let's play with Merrill! He presents you with a signal from the DEUS 2 metal detector. Look at the Target ID, listen to the sound. What do you think it is? Would you dig the hole? Reply in the comments.

    Yes, because with that big of a signal, it could be masking something else 😎

    My suggestion is to take a ring, coins you like to find, maybe some jewelry and bury each one in the sand and make notes of the numbers for each. Also, see what a pull tab or even a beer can and check those numbers. I also suggest you buy a hand sand scoop, makes for a better beach hunt!

    Yes! The tone is sharp and I don't feel it is larger than a pulltab. It may be a ring!

    I'd definitely dig that. Last gold ring rang up around there, but it could be a nickel, as well.

    The "Answer" video is online. Find out if you identified the right target.

    Yes I would dig it a solid 62 is most likely a square pull tab especially with it sounding “tinny”. Could be a gold ring also though.

    you have to dig the 62's they may be some thing good its only the iron tone i dont dig , but what if you get a mixed tone would you dig it

    Yes there is a double tap and even if it has that can tone , I am too curious. Also I pickup trash as I detect

    Yes. It's a very clean signal and easy to pinpoint. Probably trash but I would dig it.

    It's something with iron and on the surface. I think it's not round, but has length. Some overload to my mind
    To My opinion 😂.
    Usually I dig it by my shoes first of all...

      @MetalDetectingNYC I got a big fat 77 on the D2 and that's never a good sign until you pull a 7 gram gold ring 1.5" deep

    Since I'm gonna say no. Even though it has a solid number, you say you are in a high trash area so I say no.
    loud and double beep

    If targets were scarce I would but after a while you know its a can. If theres a ton of them I'd pass.

    • @lloydjones9401
      @lloydjones9401 4 дні тому

      @IndianaTones No I have not, but I hunt a park that is loaded with pull tabs, and 90% of the time that signal is a nickel. If in doubt, I swirch to pitch tones and can usually tell straight away of it's round or not.
