See the guys fighting those Amons at the bull ring in Okinawa is epic. Would definitely love to Yagami, Sugiura, Kaito and Higashi fighting those Amons on the Millennium Tower rooftop in Tokyo on Judgment 3. RGG should make about that. Like Yagami and the boys would be fighting the four Amons in their normal clothing style or matching black tuxedo.
I just finished all substories with kiryu, but Amon still won't trigger. I also realized that Kiryu is the only character who doesn't have a crown at the completion menu next to the finished substories, despite having finished all 14/14. Who can help? *Edit: I did it a week ago, turns out I didn't finish the last kiryu substory "a doctor's pledge"
I finished all the vs hostess club substorys, even got the congrats from bob. Though after finishing the last one with kiryu, it's said that he needs to write a column about the kamurocho nightlife and I don't know how...
So you've finished all substories with the four characters and Amon's substory doesn't trigger when you go to Serena? That's weird indeed, I don't know of any other requirement for it. Have you tried different times of day? Night worked for me. As for the column on the Kamurocho nightlife, it's just flavor text and there's no actual gameplay element to it.
Dangit I went into this fight forgetting to stack up on Staminans. Tanimura only had a staminan x and 2 tughness zz's. It took me 6 retries. I didn't wanna quit as I don't want to waste my first two victories
@@hello_nishiki The three pieces of the Sacred Wood set (Unlocked with completion stuff, like all substories and the likes) allows the wearer to block bullets, even does so automatically if you're facing the enemy and not in the middle of an action.
Great video, I just finish this boss fight myself and Saejima vs Jiro was the hardest one... but overall one of the easiest Amon fights.. I’m ready for Y5
Thank you, and congrats on your victory! Jiro is definitely pretty tough here since he does deal a lot of damage and him recovering his health puts a lot of pressure on you. Have fun with 5, it's got a lot to offer!
The Tiger Drop in 4 has a pretty strict timing and you're very likely to still take damage during it, so the Komaki Parry is a much safer option to open Amon's guard.
I'm using the Kokurenkai set on him, you get the three pieces by completing all of Saejima, Tanimura, and Akiyama's substories and they give a chance to outright nullify an attack's damage in addition to pretty good defense.
Well considering the Amon Clan is the biggest challenge in the game... I'd say I'm done with Yakuza 4! You can look forward to Like A Dragon content in a few days though! :D
Yakuza 5 will be done later, it's super long, after all, and I'll want to focus on LaD for the near future, two games at once might be pretty hard for me! As for these extras, if I recall correctly, the NPC to access them can be found in West Park in Kamurocho, on the construction site, after finishing the game.
I just idk... How u can beat Jiro, I can't defeat the guy, probably using PS4/PC Remaster... And I'm still on PS3, the guy is literally only little health decrease. Such annoying.
Jiro can be a pain, make sure you've completed Master's training with Saejima for the attack increases. The best opportunity to attack is after he completes one of his combos, you have a good chance to grab him at that point.

At the last amon if u have a gun and some sword u can easily get kiryus heat up and used without a sweat

Tanimura's fight isn't too tough if you're prepared thanks to his parries, but being low on items against an Amon is rarely a good time indeed!

Yeah, the Amons are definitely a challenge! Preparing a lot of healing items helps, there's no shame in using anything at your disposal to win here.
