To be honest she’s probably one of the more interesting portrayals of the mad scientist archetype. I especially love how when it comes to her obsession with scientific progress she’s not so much doing it out of narcissism or some god complex, but out of the need to push science as far as it can go even if it means allying with more radical individuals to do so. I also like how instead of making Entrapta being more charismatic or being more of a linguist, her intelligence actually makes her more socially impaired, adding to her feelings of being isolated from other humans and sympathetic nature

Is anyone else kinda mad about the part of Bow's speech to Entrapta when he asked her if she thought friendship was easy? It's obvious that she tried hard before. She saved Catra from exile to Beast Island and built Hordak that new suit of armor along with helping him make that portal, she listened to Adora's warning about the portal instead of putting absolute faith that it would work, that all got her sent to Beast Island where she probably was for quite the while, and then when the BFS went to Beast Island she helped them there too by giving vital information
Well... no. Because he said that to her while she was giving up. She worked hard, it didn't work out and that made her lose faith in trying. But Bow told her that it was SUPPOSED to be hard and that it is not only for her but for others too. And that her hard work did NOT go to waste because they're still friends.
@@mihaandj Except a lot of that hard work kinda did go to waste. Catra sent her to Beast Island, Hordak bought Catra's lies without too much trouble until DT revealed the truth, and no one in the Rebellion realized that the newer bot(s?) weren't including a lot of Entrapta's work. Then there was also when Scorpia finally revealed what happened: Glimmer, someone who Entrapta had helped save from the Fright Zone, refused to allow a rescue mission. Even after she was saved, whenever she tried helping in the best way she thought she could it wasn't often appreciated by the Rebellion. Think about it, only three people willingly came for her and they weren't even supposed to
I understand, I was kinda mad at first too, but then... he made an effort to reach out to her, despite it being not the best speech. I'm actually more upset at how he said it, rather than what he said. He's just trying to explain to Entrapta that being friends with people takes work and it sometimes doesn't always end well. Not every relationship is perfect, and sometimes people will act like your friends when they're really not. And let's not forget the fact that a lot of the things they've been through were sudden and out of their control. What Bow said to her made sense, and I am glad he softens up at the end of his speech
The line where entrapta said " I'm not good at people but I am good at tech. I thought maybe if I could use tech to help you, you'd like me. But I messed that up too. " makes me sad SHE'S JUST SO PRECIOUS
Yeah, very much relate lol. Not to the tech part, I prefer history and languages, but man, it stinks when people see you as weird and kinda shove you to the side when you try talking.
It's kind of ironic how the people in the hord treated her better than the princesses, not so much catra , but hordak and defenatly Scorpia were her real friends.
I don’t think Entrapta is bad at friendship, that’s what the princesses got wrong. Entrapta just never had as much practice as the rest of them, and overall I think she’s a great friend, and Scorpia is right that she has a good heart. Entrapta is so underrated and misunderstood...
Also, I would question how much the others were really bothering to be Entrapta‘s friends. Sure they wanted to include her and they may have even liked her. But how much time did any of them spend on Entrapta, individually? Not a lot I suspect. And the only one who really tried to understand her was Bow. Entrapta is a classic example of how neurodivergent or introverted people can just kind of slip through the cracks in social situations. Without communication she was never fully integrated with the group or the mission. Which is bad, because in reality the princesses actually needed her more than she needed them.
Compared to the other princesses Entrapta was always by herself and she really didn't had anyone to hang out with so one day she chose to make her own friends with robots and tech, that's why she's not good to talking normal with other people
She’s one of the most important side character when it comes to affecting plot ! She made so much things and advancements, I’m sure we can find an achievement (good or bad) in each season
The way everyone treated Entrapta made me so damn angry. She was left in the Fright Zone but the other princesses seem to think she “betrayed them.” Ok guys, keep telling yourself that smh. And Catra knew that Entrapta wanted to feel like she belonged somewhere, so that’s why it was so easy to convince her to switch sides. Entrapta has trouble expressing her emotions and pulls down her welding mask to cover her face instead of openly showing her emotional discomfort, but it is very clearly shown that she cried when Catra convinced her that her acquaintances didn’t give two fine fucks about her. On Beast Island, Adora was the ONLY one who didn’t just to rescue Entrapta because she’s tech-savvy, and Glimmer didn’t want to rescue her at all. And Bow has great intentions, okay? I love him. But his speech to Entrapta about her having to try harder at friendship frustrated me. She’s trying so hard, it’s just that nobody likes her enough to actually be her friend. Considering what she said when being consumed by the vines on Beast Island and in Launch, the things that people say to and about her obviously affect her. And the reason why I’m so pissed about this is because I used to have a friend that was like Entrapta who was treated the exact same way, and committed s**cide because of it.
I believe that's why she and Hordak worked so well in the end. They both suffer from similar qualms, mainly the expressing of one's emotions. Hordak usually lashes out or struggles to find words. I love them both
Jesus christ that got heavy at the end, im so sorry. I think there are some heavy communication issues. The Rebellion think she doesn't care about them, because, well, they don't know her. She doesn't have the same communication skills as the rest of them, or the same focus, and they interpret it as her deliberately trolling or not caring about them. And, well, it really bothers them - it's not that they're ignoring her, it's that she unintentionally really hurt them! They think she doesn't give a shit about them and it makes them upset, and thus, very cold to her. It's not until they directly communicate this to her that Entrapta's able to say, yes, she does really care about saving Glimmer, and is willing to go further than the rest of them to do so. That's what wins their respect. She doesn't have to change her ways - they just realised what kind of person she really is, and accepted her. I love this because, well, a lot of difficulties people on the spectrum get is due to people assuming we just don't like them, when in reality we may be really bad at expressing that we do. I do find it important that the princesses were genuinely upset by this, because otherwise it'd just seem like they didn't care about her at all. They also busted their asses to protect her as she repeatedly ran to her death - after the first time she disappeared, the Alliance fought to make sure something like that never happened to her again, whether she cooperated or not. Same for Bow and Adora on Beast Island, who could have left her there, but dragged her out kicking and screaming at risk of death. She assumes they don't care, because why would they, but they really do.
@@tipsy634 Yeah, right. I would also add the fact that she was the cause of the tentative defection of one of his cloned "brothers", Hordak. That is the reason why HP wanted Entrapta to be executed by Hordak and not by one of the other clones. He wanted to show her whom Hordak was really loyal to. He miscalculated, although he had a backup plan.
@@miche9611 I wonder if she even knew it was Hordak until he turned on Prime? Or did she think it was a random clone? But he was definitely proving something to Hordak and to himself by having Hordak execute her.
I love Entrapta, she’s so amazing. Honestly it’s sad how the princesses treated her the whole entire time tho, even before she joined the horde too. Honestly I liked it better when she was there (surprisingly) because they treated Entrapta like an actual person and listened to her ramble about tech. Her and Hordak’s friendship is honestly too beautiful 😭🤚 But a question I always had, why were the princesses so quick to trust Scorpia and not Entrapta??? They left her behind-
@@horrormovielover6725 Oh yeah that’s true, especially considering the fact that she is on the autistic spectrum as well, she doesn’t understand how to socialize or read any social cues. So it is hard to understand her and might get annoyed with her quickly because she isn’t being direct
@@horrormovielover6725 Exactly, as someone on the spectrum I can relate to her character a lot. It’s like she doesn’t know how to explain herself or emotions and then people just don’t get it and their patience runs thin with her because of that, honestly I love what she said to them after they were all angry at her. She just wanted them to like her but she thought she messed that up too, and it kinda made me cry
@@horrormovielover6725 In all fairness, did none of them even THINK to ask entrapta about what was going on? It was obvious her social skills were notably different to every one elses, and it was causing problems in the group. Im autistic, and alot of the times i dont know when im doing something socially wrong, or what im doing. Just having people get frustrated and snap at me without explaining what i did wrong so i can rememdy it does nothing but cause a divide between me and that person. Its not fair for them to just groan and outwardly complain about her when they are all for "communication" and "friendship". Their communication and friendship cant be limited to the people who only communicate in the same way they do. I understand, not quite getting autistic people. We are usually motivated by our own interests (and those interests can 100% be selfless, but they can also be indulgent and impulsive, leaning more towards unknowingly selfish), dont really know when the react or talk, and get thrown off by the most obscure things. No one is asking anyone to be a psychic. But surely in a group of people, if you are noticing constant communication striggles with one person in the group towards everyone else, you would ask them about it and try to help. Especially in a war! Like, communication is so vital then. If they want entrapta to listen properly and engage and understand, they needed to try and be more understanding themselves. Honestly, im not as big a fan of perfuma for this very reason. For someone so obsessed with thinking positivly and being kind to everyone, she certainly didnt spare a little extra understanding and kindness to the one person who was clearly misunderstood. idk it just didnt sit right with me
@@horrormovielover6725 Yeah, i agree with everything you just said. I do like how real the relationships between entrapta and the princesses are, because i myself have been in similar situations (not war obviously, but the mutual misunderstanding). I just hope that after season five they spend more time really trying to understand eachother.
You could argue that they kinda learned their lesson and were trying not to repeat the same mistake. I had a theory that a lot of Etherians have technophobia, which would explain why she is treated like an outsider, even in what is supposed to be her kingdom.
0:08 - The way Frosta, Perfuma and Mermista looked upset and annoyed and Scorpia just looked so uncertain and very sad. They were not all mad at her ..
Dang bro why is there so much anger directed at this girl?? So much bad vibes. Never watched this show, but her little costume with the mask is SO CUTE!!! AND WHEN SHE USES HER HAIR TO TYPE ,😭😭😭 adorable. And tbh when the black dude just start speaking and you start realizing that they haven't abandoned her 😭😭😭😭 and yet she feels abandoned. It's all so complicated. And then the video just keeps going and suddenly all the bad vibes and anger is dissipating??? Like i went from anger to feeling calm by the end of it. Glad the girl is okay and has friends now and a stronger sense of self/confidence, imperfections and all! Nice edit as always
If you wanna check this series out, it's "She-ra and The Princesses of Power (2018)" on Netflix, I highly recommend it, it has good LGBTQIA+ representation and awesome characters :)
I believe the main reason they direct their anger at her is cause they don't understand her. She was confirmed autistic by Noelle Stevenson, which isn't an excuse at all for their anger. She shows a side of autism that nobody really gets to see. The hyperfixation, the thought process, her lack of emotional connection, etc., and because of this, they have a hard time connecting with her, and don't try to put the effort into it to make it easy to connect, which only adds to her social awkwardness and lack of emotional connections.
the reason i love her so much is because i finally can see myself in a character, i can relate to her. I'm autistic and i fix radios and other things and it's just so... i don't know how to explain. I feel warm watching her doing her thing, and i always cry when she tries to talk to people because it is just so hard.
Seriously - why do people use the phrase 'underrated character' all the time - especially with characters who are easily fan favorites? She is the crazy reckless tech girl we all love even if she sometimes accidentally aids the enemy with an arsenal of new weapons and occasionally develop world-ending portals...
I'm surprised you missed out the part where she gets all seductive when the robot scans her. "Oh hello, you're very... Scientifically advanced." Great video though!
I had thought that perhaps Entrapta suffers from Anthropophobia. In effect she surrounds herself with machines because its the only way she feels safe.
@@SomeNonbinaryIdiot Stevenson confirmed that Entrapta was written as autistic. Entrapta mentions that she is more comfortable with machines than with people so its not that big of a stretch to say that she might also have a little phobia about people.
@@spectre111 idk dude, she seems like she WANTS to fit in, and she isn't afraid of people. She's just sad when she gets misunderstood/misunderstands people (but very happy when she is understood, like by Hordak).
Because she is annoying to neurotypicals as she is not people focused she is data focused. Happens all the time to those with Autistic Spectrum Condition.
The fact that entrapta tried so hard to make everything right with everyone but they still despised her is just straight up sickening. They were never in her side, and then when she actually found real friends like hordak, they said she betrayed them. Entrapta deserved so much after contributing to the team by a lot, but they neglected that fact because she wasn’t good at “making friends.”
Entrapta was the absolut perfect foil for Hordak to make him more relatable. I never thought this one-dimensional bad guy from the old cartoon could become so interesting as a character of his own.
Honestly, I feel this proves that Entrapta is the best character, story line wise. She has good traits and bad ones, but it all balances out in the end, she tries and fails and fails and tries again. I especially like that none of the others seem to know that she’s autistic, and they just pick up on and call out the ‘bad’ traits that she has because of it. The only person who got her was Hordak, and their relationship and how she developed from there was really well put together; they work well together, whether you see it as purely platonic during the shows run or not, and the way they influence each other to be better is fantastic. Also, her character arc, least to me, actually relates more to how others react to her rather than he own development. This was long as hell, but TL;DR Entrapta is an amazingly written character
Entrapta's the best written character in the show. Catra was an excellent villain in the first 4 seasons but they botched her "redemption" in Season 5. Glimmer was very well written in Season 4 (regardless of whether you like her in that season or not, her arc was completely consistent with her personality and the fact that she was grieving for Angella) but was shoved aside to make room for Catra without even confronting her about killing her mother. Adora had a great character arc about escaping toxic relationships in the first 4 seasons, only to completely backtrack and go crawling back to her abuser in the final season. Even Hordak, my second favourite character, was shoved aside although granted, that was more because Wrong Hordak replaced him than because Catra was warping the characters around her to give her a completely undeserved happy ending. Entrapta was the only character who didn't suffer from a lack of screen time or development and also avoided character assassination in Season 5.
@@tobsonasanya4765that's what honestly pissed me off, how none of the characters really got development because they was to focus on making Catdora cannon, even tho it was very toxic and the other characters got pushed to the side As much as I adore wrong Hordak, he's so damn cute and I adore him every time he's on screen I do wish they went the route to have Hordak with amnesia or with his memories idk something cause he barley got any screentime, I wish we saw more scenes of him and horde Prime, a backstory even to show what he missed or then interacting more? This was the season where prime is the main villain it would make sense to learn a little more of him (I do love prime as a villain he made season 5 for me) But that's how I feel at least
entrapta is my absolute favorite character!!!!!! also i love what you did with the video, this deserves more appreciation!! great job! i was in tears :)
entrapta is one of my favourite characters and probably the most relatable one of them all. im happy to see more people like me and people who understand
i love her so much shes so much like me, shes so energetic, she loves space, shes inventive, she can be clueless sometimes. (I'm social though so thats one difference)
I love entrapta she is perfect and pretty and sweet and she seems hurt a lot and ppl thinks that she is happy outside and all she cares abt is tech but she is actually loving and caring but they think she is happy but she is hurt...
Gosh I love her. I understand how she feels. The way she acts and feels just isn’t “normal” compared to other people. The line, “You don’t understand me. That’s okay, no one understands me,” always brings me to tears, I feel that. I’m not good at other people either. She helped me embrace my ADHD, not pretend to be someone who’s socially magnificent.
She's actually more autistic than ADHD. Misunderstanding social cues and struggling to socialize with others because you don't understand them is an autisitc trait not an ADHD trait.
One of the main points in Entrapta being an autistic coded character is her special interest which revolves around technology and space. Yes, she has lots of knowledge in those areas but normally, autistic people have a hard time doing something else other than their special interest which is why that’s all she thinks about. It’s not that she’s selfish and cares about herself. Another one of the points is how she communicates to other people. She takes things literally, doesn’t understand sarcasm, expressions and figurative language, has a hard time making and keeping friends and misses social cues although she is kind and does her best to help people in need. That’s why the other girls get frustrated with her but also at the same time Hordak and Scorpia take the time to understand her.
Anyone else notice that catra seemed to be a fair bit more tolerant towards entrapta's quirks? Sure, she manipulated her in the beginning, and threw her aside when she tried to stop the portal getting used. But Catra kept the picture, and apologized to our imperfect little scientist. One of her better friends
No, she isn't. As you said, she just tolerate Entrapta because she needed her. Catra never enjoyed Entrapta's company and never treated her nice. The second she got in the way, Catra electrocuted and send her to her death. She was never a good friend, and apologising doesn't change that.
Ehhhhhhhhh kind of but idk. She usually just had her as a tool really. She only tolerated Entrapta, I can’t recall any instances of Catra actually enjoying her company. And the second Entrapta didn’t want to follow through with her commands in Catra’s emotionally charged state, she stabbed her in the back.
The most incredible thing Entrapta did was in a genre where the big bad is usually defeated by violence and trading blows, Entrapta defeated the enemy by using compassion to make an enemy a friend...
I never thought I would relate to a character in a show I've never seen. But I still won't see it because friendship is a sham. Unlike Entrapa, all of my friends and family abandoned me/see me as a failure, and they never retracted those feelings.
I also want to make cosplay of them along with ones of Daria and Blondie from Bungo Stray Dogs. Its nice they made some more animated series to encompasses neurodivergent characters: Marcy Wu- from Amphibia, Entrapta -from She-ra, Regan- Inside Job.
Season 5 solidified that because Catra's redemption arc was botched, Glimmer and Adora were character assassinated and, aside from Horde Prime, everybody else was pushed aside so that they could have two adopted sisters who've had a toxic relationship since childhood snog in the final episode. So yeah, Entrapta is easily the best character. Hordak's the second best but he was shoved aside for Wrong Hordak.
Entrapta deserves all the tools and tech and friends she wants. She is so pure and is just trying to fit in and feel less like the outcast of a princess who just doesn’t understand. She might not be good at friends but she deserves more friends like Scorpio who accepted her from the start.
She is perfect! She is so cute! She was never wrong! And if she was it was trying to be good! Willingness to keep it in a little pot and protect it from all the evil in the world! Give her back to Hordak, Catra and Scorpia! They love her! ENTRAPTA SUPREMACY 🛐✨
@@tomnorton4277 True, but of all the people Catra pushed away, Entrapta is the first person she reconciled with. Depending on how you look at it, Catra apologized to her before she even worked out her issues with Adora.
I think they did well at representing her autism. Plus, whenever she has to talk about emotions, she gets uncomfortable, and puts on her mask. It’s her comfort item. She deserved better :(
Entrapta is such a beautiful character. Her love, passion, but the way she doesn’t understand others feelings. The way she still fought when she knew it was wrong. How she stayed happy. How when she said everyone left her, no one understands her. I really love Entrapta and Scorpias friendship. I think she’s the only one who actually understands her, and helps her, and really is freinds with her because she’s her, not because she’s useful with her tech and yk. Entrapta is truly a complicated and wonderful character
God, Entrapta is one of the coolest characters I’ve ever seen who’s portrayed with a mental disorder like that. She’s an actual real individual with (admittedly skewed) priorities, but she’s just as valuable as any of the other characters.
I love entrapta sm 😩🤌🤌 I hate how the other princess were so mean to her especially mermista🧍like they didnt even try to go back and look for her, the only one that suggested it was adora she was like "then lets go back for her" but everyone immediately assumed she had died 😟☝️ like I genuinely dont get that- the door literally just closed for her?? It's interesting that, in the fright zone, she waits for several days believing her "friends" will come back for her, but on beast island she thinks its a coincidence when Adora, Bow, and Swift Wind show up. My girl's jaded.
I like Entrapta so much. I want to protect her so badly even more after remembering how mean a lot of them are to her. (Only three people acepted her the way she is: Scorpia, Emily and Hordak.)
idk we see a lot of the abuse catra and adora take. like catra being constantly gaslit manipulated hurt and violated. and adora being manipulated by shadow weaver and occasionally by her own friends. but yes entrapta is on the list of characters who take shit from other characters and the thing is in her case it's in such a casual way that it happens, like with adora. what they have in common is that people kind of see them as strong or untouchable or unaffected. so people push them and take their own insecurities out on them. which you see glimmer doing to adora, because glimmer thinks adora is better than her, and basically everyone doing to entrapta, because entrapta always seems so much calmer than them. but also, unlike catra, they have a hard time identifying that it's someone else's fault. adora in particular literally jumps to blame herself at the first opportunity. while entrapta kind of just internalises conflict as inevitable because of who she is. until bow provides evidence that shes got the wrong idea and people really do believe in her despite her mistakes.
" I'm not good at people but I am good at tech. I thought maybe if I could use tech to help you, you'd like me. But I messed that up too. " FUCKKKK *sobs*

That is right sometimes it doesn’t take a special skill or power to be the best of them all, and Entrapta shows that is true.
Entrapta: Everyone needs help sometimes! *helps others*
Others: *take 5 million years to realize she needs help because she’s also everyone* TnT
Reasons why entrapta is my fav character:
WHAT?! :O
*dramatic music*
Entrapta: “I made SPACESUITS for us and then I fixed the ship from SPACE! Where I AM!!!”
I love Entrapta, she’s so amazing. Honestly it’s sad how the princesses treated her the whole entire time tho, even before she joined the horde too. Honestly I liked it better when she was there (surprisingly) because they treated Entrapta like an actual person and listened to her ramble about tech. Her and Hordak’s friendship is honestly too beautiful 😭🤚
But a question I always had, why were the princesses so quick to trust Scorpia and not Entrapta???
0:08 - The way Frosta, Perfuma and Mermista looked upset and
annoyed and Scorpia just looked so uncertain and very sad. They
were not all mad at her ..
Scorpia looked like she wanted to defend Entrapta but she was afraid the fighting could get worse.
I love Scorpia, she's the most empathetic character of the series.
Ummm idk. Definitely not Scorpia, but the things the other three say and appear like in the next few moments really show their anger.
Mermista was a bitch to her 😔
@@benji_hattoridon’t call her that! :(
Dang bro why is there so much anger directed at this girl??
@@thatsnotmoon808 thank you for the info! Much appreciated
@@Captain_Effy did ya check it out? :D
She's relatable to me
She tries her best to be a good friend but she loves tech and no one understands her. It's like they forgot she is a princess
Entrapta is the perfect encapsulation of the double empathy problem.
yep
I love entrapta, she’s such an underrated character, thanks for making this 💖🙏🏻
EDIT: OMG GUYS I NEVER EXPECTED THIS MANY LIKES, THANK YOU!! 🥺
True ;)
Same
the reason i love her so much is because i finally can see myself in a character, i can relate to her. I'm autistic and i fix radios and other things and it's just so... i don't know how to explain. I feel warm watching her doing her thing, and i always cry when she tries to talk to people because it is just so hard.
@@Lonely_Wiz awww this is so wholesome!! I’m happy you see yourself in her character 💖
😂❤
I had thought that perhaps Entrapta suffers from Anthropophobia. In effect she surrounds herself with machines because its the only way she feels safe.
i thought it was autism but ok
@@SomeNonbinaryIdiot Stevenson confirmed that Entrapta was written as autistic. Entrapta mentions that she is more comfortable with machines than with people so its not that big of a stretch to say that she might also have a little phobia about people.
@@spectre111 idk dude, she seems like she WANTS to fit in, and she isn't afraid of people. She's just sad when she gets misunderstood/misunderstands people (but very happy when she is understood, like by Hordak).
Why does entrapta always gets yelled at, poor bby 🥺
Because she is annoying to neurotypicals as she is not people focused she is data focused. Happens all the time to those with Autistic Spectrum Condition.
@@AnnaBellaChannel Can confirm
This was long as hell, but
TL;DR Entrapta is an amazingly written character
@@tomnorton4277 It's sad that you're so correct...
@@Snukt eh not really
@@tobsonasanya4765that's what honestly pissed me off, how none of the characters really got development because they was to focus on making Catdora cannon, even tho it was very toxic and the other characters got pushed to the side
As much as I adore wrong Hordak, he's so damn cute and I adore him every time he's on screen I do wish they went the route to have Hordak with amnesia or with his memories idk something cause he barley got any screentime, I wish we saw more scenes of him and horde Prime, a backstory even to show what he missed or then interacting more? This was the season where prime is the main villain it would make sense to learn a little more of him (I do love prime as a villain he made season 5 for me)
But that's how I feel at least
i love entrapta so much- she gives off extreme autistic vibes, and I’m autistic too so I kinda relate with her some and she’s just so sweet and cute-
Well she is confirmed to be Autistic
Indeed lol.
Yes, I'm autistic too and I know how hard it is to make friends. It seems like everyone leaves me for one reason or another.
It kinda makes me feel like friendship is pointless.

Entrapta and hordaks relationship is BEAUTIFUL
The best and most underrated princess
entrapta is my absolute favorite character!!!!!! also i love what you did with the video, this deserves more appreciation!! great job! i was in tears :)
entrapta is one of my favourite characters and probably the most relatable one of them all. im happy to see more people like me and people who understand
The friendship between scorpia and entrapta is just beautiful 😭💕
i love her so much shes so much like me, shes so energetic, she loves space, shes inventive, she can be clueless sometimes. (I'm social though so thats one difference)
She tries to be social and so long as you talk about tiny things. She’s very social. It’s quite adorable
I love entrapta she is perfect and pretty and sweet and she seems hurt a lot and ppl thinks that she is happy outside and all she cares abt is tech but she is actually loving and caring but they think she is happy but she is hurt...
Sad Entrapta makes everyone else sad :[
Gosh I love her. I understand how she feels. The way she acts and feels just isn’t “normal” compared to other people. The line, “You don’t understand me. That’s okay, no one understands me,” always brings me to tears, I feel that. I’m not good at other people either. She helped me embrace my ADHD, not pretend to be someone who’s socially magnificent.
She's actually more autistic than ADHD. Misunderstanding social cues and struggling to socialize with others because you don't understand them is an autisitc trait not an ADHD trait.
Shes canonically autistic actually
Precisely
Oof. This was so good! Entrapta is my favorite character from the series, and now I have more feelings
wow, i'm crying...
this was a beautiful edit, it really shows all of Entrapta's pain and complexity, thank you for that

@@lauraporto9508 i'm agree.
@@LapisLazuli03 hi agree
Entrapta is way too relatable
Unpopular opinion: *entrapta deserved better friends.*
Her only real friends were Hordac and Scorpia
And Emily
I think besides Scorpia, Hordak, and Emily, definitely so. No one else really seemed to understand her completely or even most of the time try.
The most incredible thing Entrapta did was in a genre where the big bad is usually defeated by violence and trading blows, Entrapta defeated the enemy by using compassion to make an enemy a friend...
I really feel for Entrapta when it comes to trying to make friends.
I never thought I would relate to a character in a show I've never seen. But I still won't see it because friendship is a sham. Unlike Entrapa, all of my friends and family abandoned me/see me as a failure, and they never retracted those feelings.
This is my favourite Entrapta video. It highlights everything great about her. ☺️
Why is she so relatable??
I wanna cosplay her so bad. Her design- uurgh so pretty. Best girl!!
I also want to make cosplay of them along with ones of Daria and Blondie from Bungo Stray Dogs. Its nice they made some more animated series to encompasses neurodivergent characters: Marcy Wu- from Amphibia,
Entrapta -from She-ra, Regan- Inside Job.
Entraptra is absolutely the greatest character in the show and anyone who says otherwise is wrong.
Gaah she’s just so good. Snnff sorry I got something in my eye😭
Entrapta deserves all the tools and tech and friends she wants. She is so pure and is just trying to fit in and feel less like the outcast of a princess who just doesn’t understand. She might not be good at friends but she deserves more friends like Scorpio who accepted her from the start.
Maybe the friend we made along the way was Entrapta
5:39 probably the best moment for Hordak in the entire show!
She is perfect!
She is so cute!
She was never wrong!
And if she was it was trying to be good!
Willingness to keep it in a little pot and protect it from all the evil in the world!

Catra never loved her. She stabbed Entrapta in the back as soon as she was no longer useful.

comfort character
Entrapta is the most on screen abused... Catra and Adora show signs of it, but Entrapta is shown being abused...
idk we see a lot of the abuse catra and adora take. like catra being constantly gaslit manipulated hurt and violated. and adora being manipulated by shadow weaver and occasionally by her own friends.
but yes entrapta is on the list of characters who take shit from other characters and the thing is in her case it's in such a casual way that it happens, like with adora. what they have in common is that people kind of see them as strong or untouchable or unaffected. so people push them and take their own insecurities out on them. which you see glimmer doing to adora, because glimmer thinks adora is better than her, and basically everyone doing to entrapta, because entrapta always seems so much calmer than them.
but also, unlike catra, they have a hard time identifying that it's someone else's fault. adora in particular literally jumps to blame herself at the first opportunity. while entrapta kind of just internalises conflict as inevitable because of who she is. until bow provides evidence that shes got the wrong idea and people really do believe in her despite her mistakes.

Entrapta is a wonderful representation of how making friends as an autistic person can be difficult and even painful.
This is pretty, beautiful even
I relate to entrapta in a sense, I'm a misfit who makes a lot of people who would consider me a friend yet I just feel lonely, I don't have someone I can really relate to, and my nerdyness and need to understand reality gets through and makes me boring for most people, it's too philosophic and honestly I don't like it, not that I don't like being me but I don't like having no one who understands me, not even me understanding who I am
