Let's all just ignore all the abuse, physical attacks, mental attacks, bullying, ridicule and go into complete denial then, cause 'we want Strictly back'?? How childish, selfish and populist, shame on the lot of you.
No one is ignoring it. They’ve literally made a whole video discussing it. A whole programme that means a lot to thousands and thousands of people shouldn’t be shut down because of a few bad eggs. They just need to do better. Much better.
All work places have anti bullying policies in place. They must have one. They need to update their policies and procedures and make sure they're followed. But don't ditch Strictly, so many people love it!
Lets not forget Strictly is a very physically demanding show, if the celebs can't hack it, just check out give them the money back, i'm outta here !! Simples
No...there's nothing else on ..just because you get the odd celeb who can't hack it or get offended ..being around each other all day it can't all be a bed of roses .And yes they get paid well.
I reckon each teacher wil teach according to the way they were taught themselves and it’s probably a reflection of what happened to them as kids and a learned behaviour, the only way they know. Each one will b different and some can take criticism better than others. On a show like this it shouldn’t get competitive until the actual final, the talent natural talent will b seen from the start.
It all began with Amanda, who IMO had problems when she went into the show!! To look after a disabled partner, and THEN enter the regime where an insane amount of mental and physical energy is called for, is asking for trouble, and she should NEVER have even considered it. I think she had PTSD BEFORE the show - not after!!! Except it's not called that when you look after a person 24/7 !!! But I can tell you from experience, it can mess with your head!!!
Well if she had PTSD and she knew that this would not help her before going on the show then don't go on it. It's as simple as that. Don't start complaining now
I agree. I’ve never liked her even in her acting roles. Just something off about her in my mind. I agree with the poster who said they think she had problems before she went into the show and whilst I’m not saying she’s a liar this is someone’s career she could be ruining
Janet is right , hard work and critical assessment are not for everyone, her expectation was obviously different to the reality, you can’t be pandered to all the time.
Just because you’ve had a great experience it does not negate the fact that other women have legitimate concerns about the toxicity they’ve experienced. These hosts lack empathy.
When you put on a show for tv It should not be people going in to find out if they can get out with there partners it's a show for all the family Family Entertainment Those who went in looking for that has spoiled the show for all of us . It's called if you haven't noticed STRIÇKTLY Come DANCING
No its should not..... You are going on that show to expect to be told what to do and how to dance. You can't just complain now. Expect a good kicking They were well knowy of the risks and they gladly went along with it knowing that there is a high chance of injury. Don't complain now. Keep your mouth shut
One of the complaints was being actually kicked ! That is not acceptable anywhere. Yes you go on the show to learn and be told what to do and you should expect it to be tough but no one anywhere should put up with abuse.
@JessSlater-m8v I don't believe that happened in the way people are imagining. I feel like it's more likely he kicked her feet into position like a shove but with his foot. It's obviously inappropriate but I don't believe she suffered full on physical abuse. She had him on her socials AFTER the show ended and only unfollowed him after it all came out. At least amanda walked away.
Well, I am glad they are going to be monitored now, maybe we will see the professional dancers realising now that they have to teach their celebs the routines without verbal or physical aggressive intimidation.
Just because some people have a good experience doesnt mean others do. You don't want to ne abused. I thought Amanda was good and she was a real contender😊
You are Biased ! Disgusting the BBC ignored / allowed any abuse. Shame on some of the selfish comments here. Being kicked is ok as you’re being paid - hello!
I like strictly come dancing it would be a terrible shame it was to get out of the TV because so much joy pushing into everybody’s lives and we need it at all the time and many more time to come. Do you need to come dancing because it’s been joining to our lives.
These people just don't get it. Lots who were partnered with Anton, and the likes of Aljaz will have had a great time. The complaints all seem to revolve around a couple of dancers. Having been a successful show previously they seem willing to throw certain people under the bus. Give ALL the footage to an independent broadcaster to screen. The fact they haven't and seem to want to handle it internally isn't a good look.
I totally agree with one comment. Yes Janet is right hard work. Critical assessment. Dedeadcation. (I apologise for the incorrect spelling). Willing to go on the show in the first place. Australia has equivalent to strictly come dancing. It on a commercial channel. 😮😊😊❤❤
Professional dancers are clearly very passionate people but no excuse for some of the dancers behaviour. Stories of professionals scaring, abusing, even kicking another person is just mental. Its a real concern and just because your audience likes the glits and glamour and the shiney outfits, thats no excuse to carry on in a toxic workplace
Exactly, no one deserves to be treated like that in the workplace, celebrity or not. Being spat at and kicked is just disgusting. You wouldn't allow your manager to treat you like that at work.
Obviously no physical violence but sometimes when you teach people something and they don't get it sometimes you are going to shout at them. It's just what humans do. So for you to say no mental abuse ever is ridiculous
@jetnight88 never said mental abuse . I said the situation is mental. As in its crazy, uncalled for , unwarranted. If you cant teach without shouting then your not a good teacher.
Why go on Strictly if you’re going to bully someone doesn’t make sense I don’t watch it anymore too much scandal this needs to be investigated properly or axed sorry to all Strictly fans out there just saying what I think
I think Strictly should take a year out to sort itself out. Yes we all love Strictly but that doesn’t mean turning a blind eye to what has been reported in terms of bullying and abuse. Kicking someone and spitting on someone as Graziano apparently did is not acceptable!!!! In any workplace. It sounds like it is a toxic environment but everyone has to pretend that everything is great.
Funny how one nut complains and then they all come out of the woodwork . They get big bucks and are spoilt rotten . Now they are all suing next the licence fee will go up to pay for these greed z listers
Complaining against a big machine and network. Big power imbalance. Not saying their complaints are legitimate because I don’t know the facts, but “coming out of the woodwork now” arguments are extremely ignorant and victim-blaming
No the show shouldn’t be axed.We live in a snowflake society no stamina this programme is a competition and you have to train train train. These dancers it’s their livelihood and it is blaring obvious that those who are moaning thought it would be a nice little programme to be on.
So trying to be inclusive, and have contestants with disbilities in the contest (ie Will Bailey) doesn't work. He shouldn't have gone on the show, but probably did to boost his profile, and is now complaining. 🤷♀️
So lovely to have Ruth back.. She's one of the most nicest presenters ❤️❤️
No one deserves abuse, you would be upset if a boss kicked you or your daughter at work.
JSP is correct. These stars get paid a lot of money to be on the show. BUT of there issues of concern they should be addressed by BBC management.
I'm shocked by the ignorant comments here. Abuse should never be acceptable. It's not about 'working hard'.
Welcome back Ruth ❤

This is not about a hard task, if inappropriate behaviour is going on..game over. The ladies need to have a better conversation here.

I'm glad Ruth's back. She's good at what she does and is interesting.

she is ruining a dancers career and his good name just because he has to do the job he is paid for
@@jetnight88I agree with your comment 💯%
I recently heard the term Caregiver PTSD. Is this what you are talking about, Anne?
I agree. I’ve never liked her even in her acting roles. Just something off about her in my mind. I agree with the poster who said they think she had problems before she went into the show and whilst I’m not saying she’s a liar this is someone’s career she could be ruining
If stars had problems during the competition why not address it to producers straight away why wait in some cases years after event
because they want the money
Very naive POV
If people are being domestically abused, why don’t they just go to the police straight away.
Actually so naive.
How ridiculous. It's a competition to learn something that is difficult to do If you're not alble to hack it, dont go on the show.
Exactly, disgusting behaviour. No one deserves to be treated like that. The fact that this was flagged up by onlookers speaks volumes.
Exactly!!!!!
@@Xela20j That, I 100% agree with and that should be dealt with immediately, but those rare instances should mean cancelling the whole show.
@@Xela20jdance training is pretty brutal
Management for Strictly Come Dancing needs to improve ALOT
Janet is right , hard work and critical assessment are not for everyone, her expectation was obviously different to the reality, you can’t be pandered to all the time.
It's dancing! Nobody on Strictly is being asked to defuse bombs or traverse minefields! Get a grip
It shows that some celebrities are divas and cannot hack it management are at fault.
You know what you're signing up for? No, I don't think they knew they were signing up for abusive training.
Just because you’ve had a great experience it does not negate the fact that other women have legitimate concerns about the toxicity they’ve experienced. These hosts lack empathy.

Awesome to have Ruth back. She is looking like a million pounds. ❤

My son was in a car crash the other week (not his fault!). He could have died 😔. Get a grip celebrities!!!
Welcome back ruth
Stopped watching this a few years ago. Time for some new programmes!
Just because some people have a good experience doesnt mean others do. You don't want to ne abused. I thought Amanda was good and she was a real contender😊
There is no acceptable amount of money that justifies a toxic work environment. And as for entertaining, not for me.
You are Biased ! Disgusting the BBC ignored / allowed any abuse. Shame on some of the selfish comments here. Being kicked is ok as you’re being paid - hello!
Ruth has had a glow up❤
well, she just had 400lbs of unsightly lump removed, I bet she feels fabulous
I like strictly come dancing it would be a terrible shame it was to get out of the TV because so much joy pushing into everybody’s lives and we need it at all the time and many more time to come. Do you need to come dancing because it’s been joining to our lives.
It should be axed.
Ruth looks fabulous.
I stopped watching this Strictly debacle many years ago. It should have been axed years ago

Onwards and upwards for the wonderful Ruth, looks so gorgeous!
I can't pretend I'm a viewer of SCD but the most intelligent take is Richard Osman's on his rest is entertainment podcast. He really nailed it.
Sirry for typos!!
No it should and there should not be Chaperons at all
Ok Ruth is back
What has happened with Strickly why is there so much trouble on this show atm WTH 😮
What is this tension between Ruth and Colleen

would not bother me if was axed more bothered about licence fee a waste of money
STRICTLY HAD ITS DAY.
UStrictly it has it’s days, just like many other entertainment on T V. NOTHING NEW FOR TWENTY years 😅

Ruth needs a new hair style 😮
Remember when she cheated on her boyfriend on Made in Chelsea and blamed everyone else. She's a talentless brat chasing fame at any cost.
They don’t care as it didn’t happen to rich women. Imagine if it were a rich or bkack person how different the reaction would be
