On the day that i found out this game was in the works I simultaneously found out that it has be essentially cancelled. I loved NITW and always wondered if anything was coming after. Sad day
Randomly came across this trailer just now, loved it, and became very interested in the game only to then immediately learn that the game has already been cancelled. And then I continued reading and things only grew worse. What a trip.

I'm so excited!!! Ghosts witches and demons seem very fun and spooky, and whether it's nitw related or not, I'm all for it! and if it comes out in autumn, it's perfect. I'm just confused about the statue at the beginning... is it in the same universe? we see real non-humanoid cats in nitw walking around, and at the end of the trailer we see an animal creature resting by the tree...🤔 it would be cool if we learned more about the mythology with the forest gods of the forest or the black goat, but the overall vibes and atmosphere look amazing!!! it seems great no matter what it is.

Alex (or Alec) suffered from mental illness and was a serial abuser. After allegations of his actions came out and were corroborated by everyone who knew him personally (even family members), he took his own life. Now reactionary trolls are trying to use his death to advance their political views. Its highly in poor taste, game about friendship and overcoming serious issues together, with the devs immediately and publicly dropping Alex like a brick.

@@ikwya Im a musician, artist(painter) and digital fx artist that uses programming for animations, simulations n such. Programming is apart of animation and bringing it all to life, but I get it..
I'm so excited!!! Ghosts witches and demons seem very fun and spooky, and whether it's nitw related or not, I'm all for it! and if it comes out in autumn, it's perfect. I'm just confused about the statue at the beginning... is it in the same universe? we see real non-humanoid cats in nitw walking around, and at the end of the trailer we see an animal creature resting by the tree...🤔 it would be cool if we learned more about the mythology with the forest gods of the forest or the black goat, but the overall vibes and atmosphere look amazing!!! it seems great no matter what it is.
