I say this is familiar because we did the same thing for the ATEM Mini a few months ago, but now... it's time to get EXTREME. Super informative and chill walkthrough! Loved it!
The knuckle supporting the gobo arm that holds your overhead camera is on backwards. The handle should be on the right if you're standing behind the C-stand with the load out in front of you. This way the knuckle tightens as gravity pulls down the load.

I’ve been watching your ATEM video demo and both my partner and I love the features of this unit. I am wondering though what type of devices do we need to order to enable wi-fi transmission directly from the video cameras to the Switcher. Is it something you hook into the camera and then clip on to your belt? Are there separate transmitters/receivers that can handle more than one HDMI input? Can you recommend any brand and/or type of equipment we should order to make this happen? Thank you so much and keep up the good work! We’re fans and will continue following your UA-cam page.

Yes, they work that way, you can cannect to the interface to run it from your system and use the webcam and go live on zoom, fb, etc.
Hello! thank you for this awesome video! I have a question: in our studio, we have different cameras, and cannot control in the ATEM software (camera control panel, in your video at 3:57 ). what's wrong? we connected through HDMI to the channel 6, 7, 8. We have a panasonic 4K cam, and 2 sony. thank you for your answer!

I would like to know if in this model, when recording and streaming, happens the same thing as in the Mini Pro Iso. Are the quality of HD recordings affected by the streaming upload bandwidth or the two things are independent? Thanks.

The recording and davinci file only has the shoots that you had enabled during the live switching? or is there a whole video file for the whole segment independently of when you choose which moments were to be shown?
I believe it will record each camera plus the program. This is what my ATEM Mini pro ISO does.

If you use OBS instead of the ATEM software, will the audio from the HDMI inputs still carry through to the livestream?

I’m having a problem with mine where I can get audio in through the MIC 1 input and see the audio levels on the PROGRAM audio meters, but I can not get that audio to be recorded, or have it go out from my main HDMI OUTPUT. My audio meters in my OUTPUT window show no audio, even though I see the audio in my PROGRAM meters.
Any ideas? Do I have to do something in the setup to get audio to pass though and out of my main HDMI OUTPUT? Or should that be happening automatically?
Hey did you hit the ON button on Mic 1 ? make sure its ON
@@LiveProductionTips Yes, it was turned on. We ended up getting the main output audio to work, but never could get the “Output” audio meters working to monitor the audio passing through the main output.
@@KodiakCup hahah so hard to understand lol, so you mean you can hear and record the audio on your PROGRAM out, but cannot see the meters on your Multiview for the MAIN PROGRAM ? Do you see audio meters from the HDMI input cameras ?
@@LiveProductionTips hahaha yes, I can get audio from my program output into my computer and record it and it sounds good. But the audio meters listed as the Program output meters aren’t working. So I can’t monitor my final audio output from the switcher before it hits the computer. I can see the other audio meters and they all seem to work fine. Just the main “master” audio output meter shows like there is no audio, even though there is. (Hopefully I wasn’t too confusing with that haha.)
@@KodiakCup ok now I understand. It could be a software/firmware issue. Try to check if there is no update needed for your switcher . I used the Atem mini extreme ISO few days ago I had all the meters working fine . I will be making a video about it probably this week
HI! It is possible to connect a Multiview-Cam Monitor to see the 8 HDMI -Inpunt at the same time?
Does the ATEM automatically record everything to a hard drive or do I have to set that somehow?
Can the Two HDMI outs be set up as a clean program out as well as a multiview? or are they both locked as the same?

It's just an another tab of ATEM control software for managing compatible cameras (mostly BMD)
So we can do basic color correction for non black magic camera?
How well does it work wirelessly?

Great video - just got one of these, but when i record, I only get a single video file. Why am I not getting the separate audio, video and Resolve files to post edit?!
Are you sure you got the ISO version, the regular extreme does not have that capability

Does the unit have wifi capabilities or does it need to be paired / tethered to a PC? I would like to have the unit completely handle the live streaming via wifi, only plugging in a laptop to overlay green screen graphics. If I were to use the laptop to setup the stream key, go live, and literally disconnect my laptop from the ATEM, would the ATEM be able to stream on its own without the laptop?
Yes, you setup your rmtp keys first by connecting with the laptop/pc then put your streams online to auto, so that when you hit the on air key, it goes life that instant. then you will not need the pc connection

It could be your unit that is defective. They usually work seamlessly

I've got the same problem, bought the mixer last week was trying to use it over the weekend and I realised the same problem you have, I ended up going back to my Atem Mini Pro
...would like to see how it works with projection and a analog audio mixer? ...just out the hdmi output to decimater and then to projector I guess ...analog board record out into mic feed in??? I guess I can run projection out of a laptop too

I tried to watch but, i just can not get past your lack of knowledge of how ATEM is pronounced. If you have not been around the product or the professionals at BlackMagic enough to know it is pronounced “A-TIM” then how can I trust that you actually know what you are talking about.
