The managed speed mode requires the ZFW to be entered which you did during the flight at some point but then never tried to set managed speed again. And for takeoff you need to insert a V2 speed, then managed speed is available as well.
Thanks for the video. Not sure it's enough of an upgrade for me. No F18 included in the Base pack. No ATC No ground vehicles or people. No live weather.
The FMS auto speed might not work if you turned off the vertical navigation. Up high your True Air Speed and Ground Speed would be about 60-65% higher than at 11,000 feet.
Really want to like fs 4 but can't help but think it's a downgrade from XP11 and FS2020, still no ATC, live weather, etc. Maybe I'll purchase when it's on sale...
Great vid well done. would love to see the 737. is there wing flex? I like a sim that is simple and smooth and I can paint the planes. thank you for your work here. cheers.
737 is on my short list, want to make it a night flight too. I just uploaded an A380 video and I think I remember seeing wing flex on landing but haven't paid attention to it in other parts of flight. It's a very fun sim and there's more depth to most systems than I was expecting
No, no dynamic sea/water, and they tried to enhance the shoreline where the water meets the land and it's not great. But it'll run 60 fps on a potato still :)
No, they tried some things with the water but I don't think they look great... there's a rough outline of the shore in the water that is pretty rough IMO, I'd rather have a regular flat texture for water.
@@progrmr Thanks for the reply, Now this is a bump :-(, looks great, But I thing they should at least cover the whole world and leave the rest, like scenery design and optimizations for the community to contribute.
Being new to flight sim, Im curious about something. What is the advantage to flying in a sim like this company to msfs? Obviously the visuals of the surrounding scenery arent even close to msfs, so are there other benefits?
A380 video recorded, editing now and will upload tonight. It's a long one though, might take a while for YT to process it. Check back tomorrow if you don't see it tonight :)
You can get some more Airbus in the addon plane pack ($40) but I agree it makes the overall cost pretty high. As a Boeing guy I'm ok with the imbalance but see your point.
Those improved sounds alone are worth the upgrade. I always felt the sounds threw me off in FS2. Just bought it. Downloading as we speak...
It's got some issues but overall I think it's a decent upgrade.

FS2.1 with a fresh (steep) bill perhaps?

Here's hoping FS6 will be the finished FS2 we bought in to ;)
I feel ya, lots of issues at the moment, worse than I expected. They're great DEV's and will work hard to get things in order.

I feel you - it feels pretty close to AFS 2 although I'm sure they've done a lot of work on it.
enjoyed the vid, very informative. at the end did you really want to see the bounce? lol
Not really :)
Se puede poner en Español?. Gracias

Night flights are great but the viewers can not see much. if i can paint the planes i would be tempted to get it
if im going to be honest this is a really good game for being stock usually i would say there's alot wrong but i love how it looks
I like the variety, it looks great and will do so at 60 fps on a potato... it's a great package. Be nice to have PilotEdge or VATSIM support.
@@progrmr ye that would be nice
@@progrmr how to run vr ? pls help
@@Luca-pg5mj What VR do you have?
@@progrmr Thanks, I just got it to work. What graphics settings are you using? do you max it out?
the wingflex @ 23:31 looks really strange Ö.Ö

Nice vid, thx
is the water better. that really broke immersion in the last one

Did they animate the water in this version? was my only real issue with Aerofly fs 2

Does this sim covers the whole world like MSFS and X-Plane do?, or it is just for some regions?
Some regions are hyper-detailed then the rest of the world has generic textures and no airports outside the detailed areas

Your configuration
hello good afternoon did you manage to install the dlc from europe? I'm not getting
Haven't tried but let me give that a go and I'll report back
Europe Part 1 is downloading, 50GB
I prefer Prepar3d, XP11 or MSFS
Aerofly definitely has a lot of competition
great
please tell me how did you install the new livery?
No manual installation for liveries, everything you see is part of the base product
@@progrmr its only on pc?
@@joory0 the sim? There's a mobile version that's been out for awhile but the PC version just dropped as of this video.
aerofly fs 4 will come in android or come for pc please reply 😅

Can you do a A380 flight?
Sure! I'm gonna buy the plane pack today.

Are the A380 and 747 no longer in the game?
You are correct...! I didn't even notice them missing but they are not in the Aircraft list.
In the pay add-on plane package.
@@givenfirstnamefamilyfirstn3935 Yep you are right and that plane pack is not cheap, although on sale right now. $33.99 now, $39.99 normally
Halo frnds this game mobile ?pc?
This is the pc version
I don't think it'll match up to msfs 2020
Where is the A380
That one is in the addon plane pack, gotta spend more $$$ to get most of the big boys
Is this for Android?
There is a mobile version, this is the PC version
