Silje is a great singer, I've been her fan since the Octavia Sperati days, seen her live a coupla times and knew she'd be huge soon. I'm happy for her.
The Gathering is a happy case of a band that's kept on evolving musically without being massacred by their fans over the years. Not so many metal bands can say the same. Paradise Lost were nearly killed off by their electronic album Host back in the day, and other bands disappeared.
But these dutch guys know how to do it!
