This is by far my favorite scene in the movie there’s something so beautiful and like almost romantic about the way the brachiosaurs sing it just makes my heart squinch up every time and the way Grant learns to embrace children and evolve with the rest of the world is excellent and the amazing music is the cherry on top
One thing I love about this scene is that it shows Alan's respect for the dinosaurs persists even after the terrifying T. rex attack, where he calls the Brachiosaurus "just animals" instead of "monsters". In fact, I love how this scene takes place after said T. rex attack because it gives the movie a chance to calm down and breath before things get intense again, while also showing the majestic and beautiful side of dinosaurs.
Grant’s reluctance to endorse the park even before taking the tour really illustrated how much he admired and loved the animals. To Hammond, the dinosaurs were merely genetically engineered theme-park monsters whose sole purpose was to serve as entertainment. To Grant, as much as he marveled seeing a living, breathing dinosaur (the Triceratops encounter) he understood that these animals had no business being together with man, and like any animal if they weren’t treated with respect the consequences could be extremely dangerous and even deadly. The fact that he continued work as a paleontologist, even after surviving Jurassic Park really underpins his love for the dinosaurs.
That's literally above all else what makes this film great and world series and even 3 crap. These ARENT monsters they're real life animals in the wrong place, the wrong time. Fish out of water. Now the "dinosaurs" are straight up mini godzilla monsters blowing up helicopters n shit that's like Fast and Furious without Vin Diesel
Even the original Jurassic World worked to maintain the animal aspect. Owen trained his raptors and treated them like family. He reminded Claire that they cant be controlled. The I-Rex's character was developed during the paddock inspection scene when Owen spoke of how it was mentally harmed from being in isolation with no knowledge of the outside world or how to form relationships.
Took me years to understand why he tossed his raptor claw… that was his connection to the past he was clinging to… whereas learning to love kids was the future he needed to embrace.
Grant’s relationship and character arch along with Lex and Tim is what puts the film adaption above the orginal source material in my opinion. Even though the book goes into more detail in certain regards, none of the characters were remotely likable. Grant’s transformation from a reluctant chaperone to protective guardian is very believable and touching. I’ve always argued that at its heart, Jurassic Park is a Spielberg family film disguised as an action/sci-fi movie. And I mean that in the most positive, complimentary way possible.
The idea is to show contrasting ideas, that not all dinosaurs are meat eating killers. It’s also a great scene to further develop Alan’s character as he grows from disliking children to realizing not all kids are like the one he met and spoke to at the beginning of the film.
The best part? Paleontologists believe that these sounds they’re making probably weren’t too far off from how they *actually* would’ve sounded in reality. Pretty neat!
the picture of them singing at dusk in a loud forest is provably the only mention of the most classic view of dinosaurs from the XVIIIth century... absolutelly stunning...
I think ppl forget that these are female Brachiosauruses. They've never heard a male call in their lives. So when Dr. Grant called out to them, that's why so many responded and even lifted their heads. And you can hear them continue and even get Louder as Lex and Tim are talking. They were probably like "HOLD UP!!! Since when did we get a MALE up in here??? I CALL DIBS!!!..NO ME!...NO MEEE!!!"😂😂😂
I know a lot of people will disagree with me, but Allen’s character arch with Lex and Tim is what makes Spielberg’s adaptation superior to the original source material. Grant, the kids, and pretty much everyone else in the book were not very least likable. But Sam Neil’s transformation from reluctant chaperone to a protective guardian is combination of great storytelling and masterclass acting, their bond feels very genuine on screen.
1:22 *Allen: Insert supposed Brachiosaurus sounds* *Brachiosaurus's 1 - 5:* "What did they just say!?" "Can you imagine😨!" "Why, the utter nerve!" "The gall!" "The audacity!"

I love this scene so much, it's like imagining being in a treehouse and having dinosaurs singing and loving the music as well.

JP is such a Masterpiece.
"They are not monsters, they are just animals". I wish that JW had remembered that line.

Exactly that's why after jp3 the franchise fell off because they started to treat them more like monsters than animals
Nature’s monsters, no werewolves or sea serpents here?
Blame masrani, he's the one who order to create the monster

I dont think any movie would be able to replicate this kind of magic. Everything about that scene is beautiful. Nostalgia 🥰
They've certainly tried lol
@@alecjones4676 and failed miserably at that, the best JP film released after this one was Lost world and even that one was 5-6/10 compared to this
Beautiful Scene

Jurassic Park then: “They aren’t monsters, lex. They’re just animals.” Jurassic Park now: “The Giganotosaurus is like the joker.”
Love the scene it's beautiful

I love the bellowing noises that the brachiosauruses make 😍 🦕🦕🦕

The singing was beautiful it put me in tears of love

I’ve never made this connection before
2:00 thats some beautiful music right there 😭
Song’s name is A Tree For My Bed
Thank John Williams for that
I know right. Its such a magical tone. John Williams SURE KNOWS how to make music. 💙
I like Ian Malcolm, but this scene cemented Allan Grant as the superior character.
So much for not liking babies, huh? I think Allen will make the exception after all. Such a great and memorable scene.

My childhood, never forgot😊❤🥲🦕
0:11 Hark! The Roar of the Rex from a slightly far distance.
Favourite scene
Lmao at Dr. Grant saying "Tim..." at 1:34 always cracks me up
If you’ve heard whale songs, they sound quite similar to this.
Such a beautiful sight ❤🦕🦕🦕
Jurassic Park 30th Anniversary
RW:the most peaceful scene I’ve ever seen
Bonus comment: 0:57, 1:01 & 1:05 I like the sounds the Brachiosaurus are making.
This entire Jurassic World tour seems like a Random House Publishing lawsuit on the Knowland Park Hippie Hill area of Kentucky Fried Chicken!

Even though it's not scientifically accurate, this is still the best dino movie ever.
Alan is a good figure father to them
The siblings remind me of Violet and Dash from The Incredibles
Those animals are really long
Essa cena aquece meu coração
Very good 😮😮😮
