If Islam stopped looking at Muhammad as the best example for all time, but rather an example for the people of his time, it would definitely be a more tolerant and less violent religion IMO.
Islam literally is the most peaceful religion out there. Wherever Christianity went, it literally wiped out entire population, be it Australia or Europe. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: It was your devil who had come to you, and she said: Allah's Messenger, is there along with me a devil? He said: Yes. I said: Is a devil attached to everyone? He said: Yes. I (Aisha) again said: Allah's Messenger, is it with you also? He said: Yes, but my Lord has helped me against him and as such I am absolutely safe from his mischief.

A daughter born from zina is not mentioned in Quran, ‘Prohibited to you for marriage are: your mothers and daughters’ because she is not considered a daughter according to our religion. There is no legal lineage; for zina does not prohibit a man from marrying the daughter of the mother (he committed zina with). Scholars allowed this type of marriage such as Maliki and Shafi’i.

The Encyclopedia of Unanimous Islamic Rulings lists 14 classical scholars who reported the consensus about this, such as Ibn Abdul Barr (d.1071 AD) who said: “Scholars have unanimously agreed that a father can marry off his minor daughter without consulting with her”.
The Encyclopedia explains the basis for this consensus:
1- Allah said: “And those who no longer expect menstruation among your women - if you doubt, then their period is three months, and [also for] those who have not menstruated.” Quran 65:4
This verse says that the Iddah for those who haven’t menstruated is three months. And since that the Iddah is only prescribed in the case of divorce, this proves that:
A-She can marry and can get divorced.
B- Marrying her off before puberty is allowed.
C- Her consent is neglected.
3- Muhammad’s companion Qudamah Bin Math’un married the daughter of Al-Zubayr when she was born. He said: “If I die then the daughter of Al-Zubayr will inherit me. If I live then she will be my wife”
4- Ali, Muhammad’s cousin and the fourth caliph, married off his minor daughter Um Kulthum to Umar the second caliph.
Who argues that the father can’t marry off his underage daughter? The subject is ur profit’s disgusting, perverted, immoral desires of wanting an underage “wife” at all!

Many scholars say that a husband is obliged to provide for his wife only if she lets him have sex with her. This notion causeda discussion amongst scholars on the issue of a wife who’s too young to endure sex, with some scholars saying the husband in this case isn’t obliged to provide for her because he can’t have sex with her. The following quote falls within this context: Kanz Al-Daqa’iq is a major book in the Hanafi legal school. Al-Zayla’i (d.743 AH) said in his commentary on this book:
“A minor who can’t endure sex” meaning the husband isn’t obliged to provide for her whether she’s living in his home or not. Al-Shafi’i said that “the husband is actually obliged to provide for her since that providing for her is the price for owning her. It’s like how a man is obliged to provide for his slave girl”….Some scholars say if the female minor is (old enough) to be sexually desirable and it’s possible to have sexual acts with her except for intercourse, then the husband is obliged to provide for her. But if the female minor can endure sex, scholars have unanimously agreed that the husband is obliged to provide for her. Scholars have disagreed on determining the age when a minor can endure sex, with some saying it’s nine. What’s is correct is that age doesn’t matter. What matters is the capability to endure sexual intercourse; a fat big female can endure intercourse even if she’s of a young age

@@arabianfox4545 First, it is only your "belief" that it was a revelation from god, no non-Muslim thinks that it was any more than you believe in the teachings of other superstitions. If you study the Quran in its historical context you'll find that it contains many myths, legends, ideas and moral of its time and place. It also contains verses that Muhammad's friends thought would be beneficial and then they were magically "revealed", if you bother to read the Islamic sources.
Second, we can't say if she was subjected to any harm, there is no record of this. However, surely you should be aware of sahih hadiths like al-Bukhari 5137 " Narrated `Aisha: I said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! A virgin feels shy." He said, "Her consent is (expressed by) her silence."
Or sahih al-Bukhari 6946 "Narrated `Aisha: I asked the Prophet, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Should the women be asked for their consent to their marriage?" He said, "Yes." I said, "A virgin, if asked, feels shy and keeps quiet." He said, "Her silence means her consent."
Or sahih Muslim 1420 "A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: I asked Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) about a virgin whose marriage is solemnised by her guardian, whether it was necessary or not to consult her. Allah's Messerger (ﷺ) said: Yes, she must be consulted. 'A'isha reported: I told him that she feels shy, whereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: Her silence implies her consent."
But, let's be honest - how is having s e x with a pre-pubescent girl (allowed in the Quran, tafsirs and Sharia as well as many Islamic scholars in other books) not harmful? What about all the captured women??? Is there no psychological damage - how would you like to have your daughter taken away by an invading army waging jihad for their god and r a p e d as Muhammad allowed because the Quran does?

Abu Musa al-Ashari said:
“Never had we (the companions) any difficulty for the solution of which we approached Aisha and did not get some useful information from her”. (Tirmidhi, Hadith 3883. Albani classified it as Sahih)
Imam Zohari, Scholar, said: "If the knowledge of Aisha was compared to the knowledge of all mothers of believers and to the knowledge of all women, knowledge of Aisha would have been the best,"

Because in the Old Testament there were certain things that happened that God commanded those Prophets to act upon them due to how God was directedly judging them instantly by that time as punishment, and was not as laws that those Prophets has to continually performing them; and that was also one of the reason Jesus Christ to amend those laws of the Old Testament, just for us to have the New Testament.

I get that consent laws are local and what may be legal in the UK would be illegal maybe in some US states but what has a fully grown man got in common with a 16 year old never mind a 6 year old????
