if you follow the flower petals with the pattern "he loves me, he loves me not" the last petal picked is "he loves me not" SUUUUPER fantastic detail!! Love this

WOAH that part at the end where scourge kills tigerstar.... literally so cool. the expanding tiles killed me. this is so so cool i will be thinking about it forever. goldenflower,,,
woah. okay first off, i love how unique this layout is. the screen is so teensy i’ve never seen anything like it it’s so cool. and i really like how at the end when tigerstar gets sliced open by scourge the screen gets like??? bigger??? representing how much of an impact it most have been to literally watch your ex-husband get gutted alive, even if he was a terrible person. that would be utterly traumatizing to watch happen to someone. really neat. second off, i really really like the detail of how the more horrible stuff that happens the more the flower starts to lose its petals. she lost so many important people in her life. goldenflower deserves all the love in the world for the amount of crap she’s gone through
edit: OH MY GOD I JUST REALIZED THAT NEAR THE END WHEN MOST OF THE PETALS ARE GONE TIGERSTAR CRUSHES WHAT REMAINS OF THE FLOWER AND GOLDENFLOWER IS SEEN AFTERWARDS WITH THE REMAINS OF THE FLOWER THAT’S SO SAD 😭
LOVE the detail of how the panels after the flowers have happy and sad scenes that follow the “loves me, loves me not” order!!! Adore a good Goldenflower MV too, this is so well executed

FINALLY, A PMV ABOUT HOW GOLDEN FELT! This shows her struggles so well and the tiles expanding were the coolest thing ever
I love this! Goldenflower doesn't get as much love in the books/fandom. She has been through a hell of a lot. I can only imagine her grief as she found out that her son, Swift was killed because he wanted to prove himself. And after having Bramble and Tawny she tried to stand up for them but since their father was Tigerclaw they couldn't be trusted.
I feel terrible for her and the life she went through. I wish Bramble was named after her rather than Tiger.
We could've had Bramble'Flower and Tawny'Petal!!!

This is an amazing pmv! I genuinely feel so bad for goldenflower, she was willing to give up everything for others, and her generosity got taken advantage of so many times. Yet she kept going, and was in my opinion, one of the best minor characters in the books.
I love the art and how the golden flower pov was made it really sees into her eyes and how she feels with tigerclaw/star

i cant describe how exactly, or if it was intentional, but there's something about how the only pure white in this is the flower petals, except maybe not in the shot where tiger is crushing the flower. i love it.

This animation format is fire!!! I love the way the single square spreads onto the whole screan and then just scatters in the final parts. Apart from being artistically pleasing it really goes a long way to show the impact that Tigerstars death had on Goldenflower, truly a tragic character!
Also many people have pointed this out but the "he loves me, he loves me not" pattern mirroring Golden's life from when she fell in love onwards is pure genius (So glad it ended on "he loves me not", the queen deserves better then some wannabe Scar)

Edit: I love this! I love the effects, the way the coloring is slightly offset, and flower losing petals (it’s similar to the he loves me, he loves me not game!) It’s definitely one of my favorite PMVs.

wow this is so amazing and creative!! i love your use of the mini screens and how they change into more screens to make up one giant close up! it reminds me of that cinematography trope in movies how a bunch of security screens combine to form into one screen. very well done i love love ur color use too!! incredible pmv!!

Edit: Ok, this is awesome. Artstyle is wonderful, designs are gorgeous, this is incredible. I also quite like this story interpretation, apparently Tigerstar only thought Goldenflower would raise strong kits, but that doesn’t mean she didn’t love him. :>
