Noah: I'm really bad at names, I'll let you name our child Mio: I'll name him GHONDOR! :) No wonder Noah and Mio got along so well, they have so much in common
She also has a diamond-shaped core crystal with the pink taint of a flesh eater, marking her as more likely than not a descendant of Mio/Nia. Since far as we know N and M had only one child Na'el is going to either be a blood-related sister or a cousin raised like one. Probably the former though as it wouldn't complicate the family tree more than necessary.
@@natchu96 The people of the City during this era were only a few generations apart from pure Kevisi/Agnian. Na’el and Matthew just inherited different traits from their parents/grandparents. It was only during the intervening centuries that the people in the City came to be closer to “baseline human”, with the traits of their ancestors from Bionis/Mechonis and Alrest blending together and phenotypically disappearing.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Future Redeemed fun fact: Did you know that the logo for this DLC uses fonts from 1 and 3 with flames from the second games logo? They are bringing the worlds together in every meaning possible. I Love Xenoblade!
We're back to facts, baby. FUN FACT, in Future, Redeemed the main battle theme, "New Battle!!!" completes a sort of trend through the numbered, Xenoblade games. With "Time to Fight!" being from XB1 and has one exclamation point. "Battle!!" is from XB2 and has two points. And Finally "New Battle!!!" from XB3 and has three exclamation points.
This was SO GOOD!!! I had zero idea this was coming out, your channel and videos are literally my primary news on games. This is gonna be such a wild ride. When they showed that flashback of the picture, I was so surprised I started crying. The lore goes so deep!
The cutscenes in the DLC can go pretty long, so remember that you can pause them if you want to do a longer reaction or commentary to something but don't want to worry about missing something else.
I'd like people to back off of Glimmer Rhodes. Her character is designed to show how hard it is to transition from soldier to Ouroboros. She was pushed into a huge paradigm shift; she just didn't handle it as well as anyone else we've seen.
10:45 Recall that in the base game the info on the Founders of the second City stated that two of them were formerly members of Keves and Agnus respectively. Presumably Z formed the nations of Keves and Agnus as soon as he gained access to Origin and the ability to put the souls of people in it into grown bodies.
In the first place N and M themselves were soldiers with ten years of life, so the system had been in place for quite a while. Hell the very earliest N flashback has Mio reaching her term limit.
The thing that is getting me is so many streamers being confused by the timeline for this DLC. Xenoblade 3 didn’t have that convoluted of a timeline. We know that the Homecoming ritual as we see it in the main game was established 1000 years ago by M, who didn’t exist as Moebius before N destroyed the City. So Future Redeemed is at LEAST 1000 years before the main game since he just did that. Also there’s an implication that the forever war between Keves and Agnus was ALWAYS going on from the moment Aionios was created since it was Z’s idea, and Z hates change.
LOL you sounded exactly like me when I first started this DLC (which is pretty much 15 minutes ago from this writing). So much happening and I'm trying to figure it all out.
They are no doubt connected. A could be the part of Alvis that is in opposition to whatever he was/is up to, a manifestation created due to a contradiction, as Alvis was giving me big Zanza vibes.
Back in 2017 i got into this series because of your XB2 vids and now i am here to experience the conclusion, thank you Johne (I just realized i have been watching you since Yokai watch 1 days wow)
Johne, please go back to the scene with Neal, ghondor and Matthew. They literally say that they are Noah's and mio's grandchildren. Also sorry for the mistype, phone's do that sometimes
Well, the wave 4 content is here, and I've been playing it all day. And I mean, so far, it's amazing. I mean, it's still 3, but also not exactly, it feels fresh and improved, with the new systems being pretty fun to use. So for now, I like it
Okay so we have Noah as a boxer, Alvis as a girl, and Nikola Tesla as animeboy, and at last Pyra with long hair and a skirt+ Japanese shrine maiden outfit

Didn't know that was possible lol. 7:19 Are...they gonna dump the broken skills of past games on us? 12:10 The Ouroboros symbol is green. Also because Blue (Keves) + Yellow (Agnus) = Green. 14:55 The X-Reader, Xenoblade-Reader or Game-Reader. An interesting way to call a ingame map. 22:08 A hotheaded mc, that's a nice change and yeah that's definitely a Vandham blood lmao. 24:09 I agree with Johne, there NEEDS to be more Stand-like games. 28:05 You know, I like the new Rex and Shulk look and I really liked Noah from the main game. But this guy is on a whole another level, goddamn is he a badass. 36:00 There's no running back since she'll be treated like an enemy so this makes sense. This one's definitely go much deeper into the entire ordeal of the main game. Seems like it won't be the same, that's great. 37:30 Ghondor is a fist-user so this makes sense. That's really cool. 39:00 WHAT?! The dump is insane, we're literally just first episode in. Absolutely loved how this game is going so far, hope to see more of it.
I get the impression just from the first 15 minutes that you purposefully avoided the trailers for this DLC. XD EDIT: Also, the fact they're Q and R not only confirms Moebius recycles letters, but also helmet designs, because their helmets belong to different letters in the base game. EDIT 2: Basically, based on what's in this episode only - Grandpa Ghondor was Noah and Mio's son (which, yes, does mean N killed his own son). Matthew and Na'el are Ghondor's grandkids, so Matthew and Na'el are descended from the Noah and Mio who became N and M (because Matthew explicitly calls them his great-grandparents when referring to the photo). As for who Matthew and Na'el's parents are...they apparently died against Moebius 15 years prior that scene.
I almost tweeted you today to see if you were going to play this asap…so glad you are! I don’t think I’m going to buy but I’m happy to watch you play it
Theorizing, Timeline wise, we're probably in the past after N betrayed the City and became a Mobius. This is because the only major destruction of the City which was pointed out in the main game was by N. Moreover, 11:40 proves that it's definitely after N became a Mobius. I'd say, it's the events right after N became a Mobius. 13:39 The red Core Crystal of Alvis. It's probably supposed to be a reference of them being related or an ornament. 45:28 Matthew called Og Noah and Mio "Great grandad and grandma". So, we'll probably get to know Grandad's name soon. That's the name Noah gave his child. So yeah, I'm gonna straight up say this on the first episode...Matthew and the gang is definitely gonna die by the end of this DLC. Knowing Torna, like how Johne pointed out, it's probably gonna go that way.
Hello Mr. Jonathan Amazing, I found your channel through Fire Emblem Engage and I'd like to ask you about Xenoblade (seeing as this video is about it). I'm in the middle of Playing Xenoblade Chronicles on the Switch, was thinking of playing the 2nd one after I beat it and then the 3rd one but I heard mixed things from the 2nd one. Some say it's good, but a LOT of people say there's a lot of weeb fan service and gacha that makes it extremely hard to play the game. Also, I'd like to finish the game (Original Xenoblade, Switch Ver) soon but I keep being distracted by other games/am busy with other stuff, is it ok if I ignore the side content/side quests and just focus on the main story? Maybe even turn on the "easy mode" so I don't grind as much (though I heard it really trivializes the game too much). I'd like your thoughts on it.
Without spoilers because I don’t know who else to ask: Is this DLC very sad? My grandfather just passed away and I’m afraid I’m gonna be an emotional wreck if it’s too sad of a game to play. Thanks if anyone can tell me.
Can people tell me, without spoilers, if you didn't like the base game of XC3 is it worth picking up this DLC? How different is it from the main game's combat style (my personal biggest gripe with XC3)?
Noah: I'm really bad at names, I'll let you name our child
Mio: I'll name him GHONDOR! :)
No wonder Noah and Mio got along so well, they have so much in common
No wonder ghondor hated her name, it belonged to an old man. . .
Damn
When they first mentioned the name Ghondor during the Vanila Xc3, this was the exact face I was expecting for that name.
Na’el is his blood sister. Remember Mio is their great grandma so potentially some of their descendants can end up catboys/girls
She also has a diamond-shaped core crystal with the pink taint of a flesh eater, marking her as more likely than not a descendant of Mio/Nia. Since far as we know N and M had only one child Na'el is going to either be a blood-related sister or a cousin raised like one. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Future Redeemed fun fact: Did you know that the logo for this DLC uses fonts from 1 and 3 with flames from the second games logo? They are bringing the worlds together in every meaning possible. I Love Xenoblade!
Perfection
A is like Sephiroth, aka a one winged angel. When she uses her talent art, she sprouts temporarily one wing, like Sephiroth does. That's kinda neat
its pretty cool
The one winged motif was also used in Xenogears, probably a callback to that game
Na'el: What song do you want me to play
Kid: Bringer of Chaos, Ultimate
Zeke: This lad got style.

Yup, they mention in a future flashback that Melia has already been captured by this point so Z has access to Origin
