Cat, I very much enjoyed going on the journey with you through your very much loved Bible. Every page left me wanting to see the next, there's not one sticker or washi I would want to move. This was such a treat! I have just started playing with my Bible & it does help me to spend more time in it reading and holding and to just enjoy my one on one time. That Bible is so Cat now! I’m in the process of “pinking up” the faith life illustrated bible as I read through it. I love it and it has this beautiful silver/pink gilding, then you open up you a bunch of green/gray. Thanks for the inspiration, I like how you fit some small stickers in the middle margin where there’s a big gap. I love that!

I wrote on the gilding of my compact bible and I regretted it, but when you started talking about customizing your bible it helped me embrace it and I think I wanna add more stickers and stuff to it! Thank you!

Wow....Your Bible is Blooming so beautifully. I love how you personalize your Bible. Your butterflies are beautiful. I use washi tape and floral stickers in my Bible along with my highlighters and Pentel pens.

You inspired me to get my own purple Bible! I got a rebind of the NKJV Study Bible for Women in purple calfskin and love it! I also have the Open Bible in black leathersoft. Another great tool!

This Bible is certainly unique and totally you! It is blooming beautifully. Thank you for sharing it with us. I cracked up when you were talking and I'm watching intently and all of a sudden to the left I see these two little black feet!! And low and behold, a kitty steps over your hands and you Bible and crosses over... they are too cute.
Logan can't leave my side for a minute this is why he has so much anxiety when I'm at work. I'm so used to them walking around me on all over me sometimes I don't even notice😂
The inside of the bible looks amazing. Another Bible to add to my list of Bibles to consider. Not sure if you have the supplies, but I finally got around to taking apart an interleaved Bible and disk binding it. It was a little nerve-wracking, but now that I have it mostly done, I can't wait to fill up the pages with notes and such. I can only imagine what it would be like to fill up a journaling or regular Bible.
You are soooo right sis, the Bible is a tool for you to grow in with God's Word. How you do that - mark or not - should reflect you, your own style. On another note, this is consistent with not treating the Bible as an idol. Yes, it should be revered, cared for and loved. But it is not God. God is God, and this is His Word which we will write on our hearts, and apply to glorify Him. I love this Bible more and more every time I see it sis, and I am learning to like the Open Bible as a result of watching your videos. I have felt that the design of the Open Bible was a little too "masculine" for me, so to see yours colored up gives me lots more ideas! You are truly an inspiration in my walk and I can never tell you with enough words how much I love you!
Amen sister that's exactly what I wanted to say I just didn't know how to word it correctly without having to have people come for me 😂😉... it's so true they act like if they spend $200 $300 on another premium bible that's their life savings and they can never buy another one but on the other hand they're okay with spending $800 to $900 on a phone. It's so sad they are the same ones that try to make the argument you only need one Bible. But real passionate students like us have bl🌺🌺med out of that mindset and now we can't get enough. There will never be too much money for me to spend when it comes to the Holy Word of God.
I'm so glad to hear that you're taking a second chance on the Open Bible trust me I to had my doubts that's why I waited so long to buy it but girl this one I love so much and I know it has to do with the cover as weird as that may sound it's so beautiful to look at to feel in your hands just to hold it literally was created for me. @@catwoods5499 - well said as always sis! I agree 100% with everything you've said here. I feel blessed to be able to have my bible collection and they all, in their season, help me get closer to God in their own way. I am keeping my Open Bible out (you've inspired me!) and just adding a few little stickers already has really lifted the pages. I know that sounds obvious but lately, I haven't needed to decorate my bible as I was using the Women's Study Bible which is decorated plenty already! So I was just taking notes. But wow....I realise how much a little goes a long way! And...it's also the case that it was so new, the system in there, that I was hesitant. I really don't like the black leathersoft, though I love my black goatskin bibles. I just don't like this one. Meanwhile it has the red and black ribbons, which also I don't like. BUT I have sent an email to Jim today to see if he will create a beautiful bible for me, and it might just be the Open Bible I ask him to rebind for me. I also agree that there is never enough money to spend on the Word of God in the home. In fact, my husband agreed that I could buy 2 Schuylers for my birthday last year, and I did!! Love you so much sis!!
p.s. I will be watching this video over and over, this bible is soooooo beautiful and hearing how you talk about it, it's so uplifting to me! We need to get away from the naysayers and look up to God, iron sharpens iron, and you sharpen me so much more than you'll ever know!

Mardel’s has a hook for them, but are out. My Hobby Lobby doesn’t have any like this...someday I will hit a bounty of them! Love Love all the ending pages! I’m going to try to make some embellishments this upcoming weeks. “Try” is the key word. Haha. Loved this walk-thru, as you said, make this bible speak about - you!

I really love the ot myself!!! Its very catchy...gets u really interested...some say to..if u a first time Bible reader to start with the ot...I just read whichever testament I'm drawn to for the day...or I won't technically read or study...I'll just spend hours decorating my bible..I wish I had more sticker choices in my area to choose from...so I just find myself repeating my stickers

The Lord has given me a strong skin on here and I have learned all the negative comments are only from those who don't like what they are saying about themselves not me. I wasn't always so strong. Wow Cat, this Bible is beautiful. I never have and probably never will be good at drawing, but I'd like to add art to a Cambridge Cameo Wide Margin I am getting. Thing is I want it to last for multiple generations. Are there archival quality sticker, patterns, stamps, or anything like that I can use? I really want to make my Bible pretty like yours, but I am scared of ruining it.

Nooo, I had a long comment typed up, and accidentally pushed the back button. Anyways, I am wondering what your thoughts are when it comes to Inductive studying. I remember there was a video that you showed/mentioned how you highlight certain words or topics in your Bible. Recently, I came across the Inductive Study Bible, and wanted to know what your thoughts are on it. The whole system sounds really interesting, and very structured which I think I can use right now. I tried looking into it today, and I just couldn't get it off my mind. Sometimes I think I might have a mild case of ADD or something similar. Every now and then, my brain gets wrapped up with a certain product or project, and I have a hard time focusing on anything else until I get the product or start the project. But once I get the product, or just start, then my brain finally lets me focus on what I should have or need to do.
I am in the middle of going through the wayfinding Bible, but all of a sudden, I just can't find it in myself to read it. Like I will take the Bible out and read, but the words just won't sink in. :? While I have trouble getting into that book, I am working on some other Bible/scripture related project, but this Bible has me wanting to learn more or order it asap.

Okay now yes I do have a video were I share my 1st attempt to try the (Inductive Bible Study) and I really enjoy it. I have been like you are right now since I've started my Spiritual journey. I am also wondering and seeking more meat from my bible study time. Unfortunately for me I have to learn how to on my own. I'm not a part of a church family I can't just ask the neighbor or a friend or family member. I had to solely rely on the Lord and to listen to His Holy Spirit. Which took me some time to do. Soooo I've had many up & down made mistakes but best of all I am making them and learning. (Felt led to share this)
I too wanted to try this study out and there is a bible that is created just for this kind of study there is enough room in between each word and between the sentences so you have room to make your marking. Unlike a normal or regular bible there is not a lot of room and it all makes it look so bunch in together and really overwhelming to try to go back and read. I'll would love to share this bible on my channel and of course review it and share how to use it. But I've never really thought about it. I always pray and ask God to lead me to my next bible that I need for that year.
Maybe one day God will say ok cat it's time to share this bible and others learn. What I love about the inductive study is you can really make it your own. So if your seeking it out sister please don't stop. Maybe get a different bible you can mark up so your not using your main reading bible. And this might help you for those times when your reading and you just want a little bit more cover deeper study I get the same way that's why I have multiple Bibles and I use them all for different reasons and purposes I hope this helps sister if you have any more questions please don't hesitate to ask that's why I'm here. One small suggestion. Invest in a good color wheel and opposite colors on the color wheel are the most complementary. You can find them online too, but the Web colors are not as complete as in real life. Just a small suggestion from a graphics person.

It is for choosing colors. For instance, opposite colors like blue-orange, yellow-purple, red-green; but then colors in-between. You can find color wheels online.It's an artist's tool. I am a watercolor artist and use one.
