Who’s idea was it to run the cable underneath the carburettor in the first place?! Thought this would be a 5 minute easy repair and now I'm tearing the whole thing apart lol
Just out of curiosity will the throttle cable keep the trimmer from turning on??? I just bought one on market place (stihl fs100rx) but won’t turn. On. I has spark but won’t turn on. The engine is dirty caked with grease and grime though. Any thoughts on what I should do thanks. Awesome video btw.
Hi, if spark is there that's mean wiring is alright. Start with standard diagnostic procedure, after around 5-8 pulls on full choke spark plug should be wet of fuel, then do crankcase vacuum/pressure test, fuel line pressure test ( inc. carb pump diaph. and needle valve ), and check flywheel key.
