He isn't switching between teams, Argentina is his country and Barcelona is his club side, he plays for both at the same time, playing for your club and your country have nothing to do with each other, what baffles me (because ive seen so many others say the same thing) is how Americans can't understand the Country and club thing ha ha I mean it's pretty obvious, Barcelona is a city in Spain and Argentina is a country.
You can compare it with NBA players, when they go to olimpics like paulo gazol played for spain and stuff, it's the quickest reference you can have, and other players the croatians and stuff
