also if u didn't know the dagger has a right click backstab that 1 shots lights and mediums and leaves heavies low enough to kill with a quick melee :D, its fun and pretty viable once u get used to it
@@pasatebo yea but it sucks. you cant sneak up on enemies like in tf2, you cant trickstab unless you are god with dash and theres really no reason for it
I think these breakpoints mostly make sense, it facilitates higher ttk (which embark wants for this game) and encourages playing around ur team to make kills easier. Also a lot of breakpoints change with the quick melee. Like the model 1887 two taps light and medium, but it can 1 tap 1 melee a light. Which it can’t do to medium.
Unfun fact: You never get to download the code needed to run a match, every instance of the game happens on The Finals servers, including custom games and practice range, it's unfortunately an industry standard nowadays. Fun fact: The practice range is an actual full multiplayer lobby with multiple players being in it at the same time, several hundred meters apart. There was a bug recently that allowed you to horizontally fly (now patched) and there is a bug that has been since the beginning that allows you to gateway above the practice range map, combining them allowed one youtuber to fly over to his friend (there is an ID in the corner of the screen when in game which contains the game version and the ID of the current server and they were able to re-queue until they both ended up in the same instance of practice range)
Every server is hosted by embark because they have server side destruction, as in every exploded particle you see is the same for every player. If it wasn't this way then the game would suck
I'll tell you something thats actually infuriating, bullets don't go where you're aiming. It's especially obvious with the scope sway on the sniper at longer range. Bullets always hit the center of your screen, but your sights always sway around with movement. It makes using a monitor crosshair really useful.
The training room is actually a server that holds multiple players. There are several identical rooms super spaced out from each other, and you can actually glitch out of the room and snipe other people
My biggest issue with the finals is that the crosshair has so much customization, but even just the colors of weapon optics can't be changed at all. I'm red/green colorblind, so having red for every single crosshair makes it extremely difficult for me to aim using optics.

@artefact2162 they are inconcistent. But what I'm talking about is someone with a stungun m11 dash invis bomb combo that does nothing but make your day worse.

Model doesn't oneshot a light because it's a medium range shotgun, Light is meant to be the glass cannon class, and Model is already overtuned

The gas and explosion reaction is expected to be used to clear gas from checkpoints I think, since the gas is burned away in the reaction
