Fun fight, had practice from the nightmare playthrough so it wasn't too bad at all. Elemental Resist worked against me here, but made it work anyway. Just the final boss on this playthrough to go. I got horrible modifiers for the final boss, so that will likely be up tomorrow instead. There's also a couple of things I want to explore before finishing the final boss too, incase there's any special items or unlocks that are prevented by defeating the final boss before grabbing them.

On my apocalypse run rn and this guy keeps kicking my ass xD
Venom got stuck trying to lunge at me from behind the building and was basically frozen in place and I couldn't get him unstuck so I just sat there and shot him.
I saw Venom post on reddit on how bullshit these gamebreaking bugs are.
haha mine got stuck in one of the cylinder looking things in the middle, but he was only stuck for like 5 seconds but was enough for some free shots. I was glad because it took my like 7 tries
to beat him!

Two. Can you show what your traits are as well? I know the extended jump is there and I'm assuming Mod generation and stamina?
When he shows his gear at the end, you can see the traits on the right side.
This build just saved my ass big time, got a Venom with Spiteful and Skullcracker and it was bullying the hell out of me lol

Vestige of Power ring doesn't work with Huntmaster for some very odd reason, works with other long guns and meeles. Good Work.
So you're probably the only person who I think would have a slight insight on the archon hunt, have you seen anything in game or done anything to indicate anything? Like a corrupt version of any of the world's, or just anything you might think that would be related to It.
Are the concoctions one-time use or do they persist in your inventory afterwards?
One time use
1 time use but even if you die they stay active. Alchemist can double the kength if time they remain active as well if set as primary archetype
What is the long gun/weapon mod/hand gun you’re using?
Hunter archetype sniper, nebula pistol not sure on the long gun mod
What is that fart gun you’re using? Looks op
nebula, u can craft it after killing tal'ratha or whatever his name is (one of neruds final bosses)
How do you have so much time on the concoctions is that an alchmeist thing?

Honestly his moves aint that bad its just on Apoc the margin of error gets quite small lol. Esp when he places to tick damage AOE zones. His actual moves are fine hut man those zones are most of my deaths.
You mean the AOE hit boxes that are complete bullshit? You can dodge completely OUT and still get one-tapped by the Vertical AOE from this boss. Pretty weak ass bullshit from the devs.
I deal tons of damage, but for this boss, I do like 6 or so damage, and I can't dodge his attacks? They just teleport to me
The trickiest is the slow tracking projectile he shoots, when it lands it bursts into a huge aoe, and he usually does this along with some other tracking projectiles. And after 1/3 or 1/2 health he starts following the stabs up with a delayed spear throw / thrust. Run to the side for the thrust, watch him to dodge the spear throw. If you dodge early he'll catch you. Timing is very tricky I found

there is also a trait that increases dodge distance

Elemental resist and drain 😂 I swear everyone’s video I see they got such weak affix rolls on their bosses… I feel like I get guaranteed thick skin or regen on any boss but this guy had both.

Agreed. My venom had Regen & Minions. As a Summoner (and challenger) I was MAD when I fought it
Mine in my first run of Apocalypse has Empathy and Elemental Resist... his sticky grenades pretty much one tap me(with tank build) if he lands one. He wipes me every time I get him to that move that causes spears and explosions everywhere

You are not supposed to start fresh on appo. You need a maxed out char and a decent build. You can run most of the appo bosses EASY (not this one). With alchemist/medic 50% DR build that has 4 concotions running. You tank so much its insane. Another good build is archon/medic with the ring that give you misty step and the ring that reloads your stowed gun and Nightwalker, you do not need to EVER reload and gan trigger the OP nightwalker mod all the time.
@@EmilyRose0 I know your not supposed to start fresh I didn’t it just took me a min but I finally got it then beat final boss no problem then got no rewards because of the bug

Honestly, one of the worst bosses, just copy pasted the elites from this region. The whole Root Earth map looks like they were running out of time and ideas
This whole game is kinda lazy, the level difficulty comes from spamming annoying mobs
I was just saying this last night. The whole last area feels super rushed. It’s short, uninspired, and just basically a boss rush. Worst biome for sure. They only used two colors for the whole area. It’s dumb.

Remnant 2 = bosses just spam moves while you spam dodge and occasionally actually having to dodge.
Imo it’s incredibly shitty game design.

@draskoroo3317 literally though the boss design on the last map is underwhelming as he'll and I just spent 1:30 dying to this guy on apocalypse annoying as hell
I’m with you 100%. I’ll be enjoying this game, then get to a boss and find myself hating it. I like to shoot in a shooter, not spend 90% off every boss fight jumping around. It’s annoying and stupid.
I’m also sick of all the visual noise in the last couple of fights.
For some reason, I actually really liked this boss fight even though it was one of the tougher ones. Nailing all of the dodges at close range feels so rewarding. Also, I really liked the music. I have to agree though that sometimes there’s so much visual clutter that I can’t even see what move the boss is preparing to do lol (I completed solo apocalypse)

You lose health, if you lose enough health you die
