And then you remember that in Asgardian years, Loki is only sixteen. He's was emotionally and verbally abused, found out his role was to die, attempted suicide, was tortured and brainwashed, declared the pinnacle of evil, was disowned by family, imprisoned for what he was forced to do, finally redeemed himself, and then sacrificed his life for his brother.
And he was only a kid.
And thing is that he brainwashed and tortured by Thanos and the scepter and we can see that because he has bright blue eyes in the first Avengers movie yet he has green eyes in the other movies. Plus, he tells Thor “I remember you tossing me into an obyss” which never happens since Loki was the one to let go so his memory had been altered so for him, Thor basically pushed him of the rainbow-bridge. And we see Loki’s eyes turn green for a second when Thor asks him to look at the damage he has done. Because think about it. He only wants to rule Asgard and take out the Jotuns, why would he go after earth? I was so random and he never spoke about Midgard before that so why does he suddenly want earth? Makes no sense unless Thanos forced him. I love Loki so much and I just want to give him a hug honestly. We all feel bad for Thor, but Loki had lost just as much as him, his home, his family, he has no friends. Thor at least had the Avengers, although they never visit him until they need his help in endgame, (which was very shitty of them, since Thor lost everything he has and they never even checked up on him). I love Loki’s character arc and i relate to him a lot. No, my parents never favored my sibling over me, but I share a lot of Loki’s personality traits. I’m quiet, like to read, hate thick headedness (is that even a word? Well now it is anyway) and i also love green.
Truth is, it was never Loki's fault he became this way. It was because of others. And when Odin lied to him about the reason why he was adopted (to bring peace to both sides, not as a son) that was his breaking point. Loki is just misunderstood and broken, to the point where he no longer understands the true meaning of freedom and peace. But we will never forget him.

Eso es u a estupides xq realmente se puede ser libre. Ahora lo que hiso hiso si mata a tu padre! A tu hijo! Tú lo justificarias así? Yo amo a Loki pero fue un villano! Luego cambio! Pero lo q hiso hiso!!!!!!! Su padre siempre lo amo! Solo q no le dijo xq fue adoptado aunque luego lo amo! Tanto como a Thor el era el q se sentía diferente! Luego lo entendió! 💗 Debió dejarlo ser rey xq sería uno bueno! Ese fue el error de Odín!!

Considering in myth he did take the form of a mare to distract a horse to win a bet (resulting in sleipner the 8 legged horse) and as a trickster changing how he looks
Loki was a rightful king tho..he should've been the crowned prince of Jotunheim.. We see this in the 'what if' episode of Thor being an only child..he would've been happier
Yeah, if Odin hadn’t genocided the Jotnar Loki probably would've been happier. I don't buy Odin's "you were left there to die" bs, Loki was left with the Casket, and is confirmed to be the prince of Jotunheim. I don't think you'd leave a runt that you want to die hidden with ypur people's greatest treasure/weapon
