  • Letchworth State Park is a beautiful spot tucked away in upstate New York. Billed as "The Grand Canyon of the East", the Genessee River has cut a very impressive gorge that features three large waterfalls. I've made many trips to Letchworth and always enjoy it. There was a very impressive train trestle at the Upper Falls which has now been replaced with a more modern and less scary crossing, but the original one is seen here in all its glory.
This 16mm Kodachrome film was scanned on a Moviestuff Mk II 4K scanner and cleaned up in Virtualdub, then edited in Pinnacle Studio 26. This version is at 30 FPS; I did a 60 FPS version for those who prefer more of a video look compared to a film look and will upload it as well.
