    New leslie simulation parameter, in particular: Tube feedback.
    This is a very important parameter that works on an aspect of
    the whole amplification system that can drastically vary both the dynamic response and the frequency response, as well as have an impact on the overdrive.
    When a Leslie cabinet is set very close to the Hammond organ and is played at a high volume, there's some sort of feedback between the tubes, the transformers and the pickups of the Hammond and the speakers of the Leslie, resulting in a sound that tends to get “fatter”, the attack is “punchier” and the distortion is aggressive, giving you the feeling that some sort of energy is looping between the organ and its amplifier.
    Now, a genuine Leslie 122 or 147 is only 40W of power, but if you try to connect your Hammond organ to a 100W guitar amp such as a Marshall JCM900 or a Fender Twin you'll notice that the amp starts going in feedback even if you don't play any note on the organ.
    This is... pure analog power!
    Try this parameter at small steps, it can drastically change the sound in both a pleasant or unpleasant way, according to your tastes.

    These Mojo 61s pack a killer punch for a killer price, too. The only other model that I really like that fits my taste (that I know of) is the XK-5, and the mojo 61 is a mere fraction of the cost of an XK-5.

    Hi Marco, do you find necessary to connect the Mojo with balanced cables or unbalanced are OK as long as they are not too long ? Thanks in advance!

      ciao, thanks for your comment!
      I always use standard mono jacks (unbalanced) with no problem at all...

    Question. After editing the sound thru wifi, can the setting be saved to the board for easy recall? or do you have to always to go online to recall those?

    I need your sincere opinion , I am about to buy either a hammond xk1c or a mojo 61... which one do you recommend ?

    • @marcoballa
      @marcoballa  4 роки тому +2

      I had the SK2 (same tone generator of the XK1c).
      And I had both the Mojo61 and the Hamichord (Mojo dual engine).
      The Mojo61 is another planet.
      And it includes the same virtual modeled rhodes/wurly/clavinet of the Seven stage piano (best sounding vrtual modeled at the moment).
      So, no comparison :-))))

      marcoballa So , I don’t have to buy a real Hammond , you think so ? What is the difference between the Mojo 61 and the bigger Crumar Mojo with the 2 manuals ? I read that the 61 is more updated ? Is this true ? I will be visiting Italy soon , do you have any recommendations where I should buy it from ? Thanks for your kind reply

      @@sherifelsharkawy7041 yes, you HAVE TO buy a real hammond!

      @@sherifelsharkawy7041 the Mojo 61 has the new dsp engine (same family of the GEMINI and the Seven).
      The old Mojo dual has the pc plus soundboard.
      The Mojo dual has not all the last upgrades (leslie sim, overdive, etc.)

    Gli aggiornamenti di vb3 ii possono essere installati su gemini?

    • @marcoballa
      @marcoballa  4 роки тому +1

      In linea di massima GEMINI/Mojo61/Mojo Classic hanno lo stesso generatore/dsp e il
      software è lo stesso. Credo ci siano upgrade specifici per le singole macchine e li trovi sul sito Crumar.
