True zerg game, trow units at them until they die or the units run out
its always cool to see swarm hosts in pro games, let alone swarm hosts that actually put in work
Swarm hosts are just dumb and annoying
I enjoy using them alot - especially in team games.
@@MKu64 Still an L person, Swarm hosts literally require no skill.
@@reaper6-268 What a noob comment 😂 It's the same as saying any unit requires no skill if you A-move. There's plenty you can do with them if you know what you're doing.

Personally i think the most underated Zerg unit is the venteral sacs overlord
Been using it as my opener to sneak lings into main for 8 years XD. Haven't ever tried any late game overloard play
So sad for those Battle Cruisers working so hard yet not even receiving a single weapons upgrade. You'd think they'd be worth a +1 at least.
That said it was fun seeing a TvZ that wasn't dominated by ghosts for once
And in exchange we got Zerg dominated game, name your unit...
@@geuros Ragnarok had to put a lot more macro and micro, though. He had a very micro-heavy unit composition and was constantly harassing Terran on different parts of the map while the terran just made a giant clump of thors and A moved around. Much deserved win for the Zerg player.
@@geuros Yeah, there's a reason why we (almost) always so ghosts. I also happen to have have a soft spot for Zerg so I didn't really mind the outcome =)
@@geuros idk, dominating whole zerg army with one control group feels cheep.
Zerg winning a close game by relentlessly tech-switching, remaxing and throwing waveafter wave against the terran wall feels a lot more deserved

That was not a conventional TvZ but it was a delight to watch. Kelazhur did an excellent job.
I actually prefer games where things aren't conventional. I love the creativity and the quick thinking it takes to make it work. It shows the skill of the players more than following the usual rigid build orders.

This was an incredible game to watch.
Really nice game by Ragnarok. Super nice contain with swarm hosts and corruptors. He almost threw it around the 22:00 mark when he had that bad engagement at the bottom right, where too many broods got yamatoed in the beginning. This seemed like Rag saying "this isn't allowed! You can't have the bottom right!" and being a bit too hasty. Engaging with the corruptors first with the rest of the army before the broods would have probably ended the fight quickly.

Had the thors has any stupid hellions covering them from banelings and zergling, and the battlecruiser were to rally with the main army, kelazhur would have won the first match during the first max supply. Zerg couldn't do shit when all of them were combine, yet never once have he formed them up, omfg, this is so infuriating.

That first wave of locusts which was praised, wasn't really successful. He lost lings, babes, and managed to kill a single siege tank with the locusts.

I think this game came down to tactics. Definitely some misplaced units and unecessary over-extensions. Great to see such an unconventional game!

@@LowkoTV oh how modest of you .. we all know that your only a caster to give the Pros there time to shine.. if you played professionally no one would want to face you and sc2 scene would be over ... so your a nice guy and let the pros play in there sandbox while you are the worlds best caster...

i dont think so. it still has a pretty decent competitive environment id say but in the lower leagues there arent too many players i think
You still find a 1v1 game within a few seconds at every level other than the absolute top usually
@@Tom-yg7mi well this is also because they restructured the ladder so people don't have to be bronze for long.
Also, I just started playing ladder and it's a blast :)
The modding scene for the single player is taking off at the moment.
@@Tom-yg7mi I'm in platinum and I hardly ever face the same person more than once. And a new game only takes like 10 seconds of searching to find an opponent.

LOL so terran builds BC (for fun) - if zerg doesn't build corrupters - they die. If corruptors actually destroy BC's - terran switches to ground and corruptors now useless... nice balance. Like anything zerg it's always underpowered underperforming or has the sickest counter that takes no apm, that's why you'll see zerg always triple-speed their opponent.
I also hate how every caster since forever talks about free units on the zerg side but never talks about free auto-turrets, yamato cannons mines interceptors disrupter balls MULES etc... Because swarm hosts shoot an "actual" unit - they get the proper nerf and have -500 hours of cooldown- can't do shit in between - and only attack ground, and BECAUSE of that they can use the ability to throw locust. I can't count the times I've seen people winning by just attacking while they're on that eon of a cooldown. But for bc's their free damage at 15:40 took out 600/400 worth of units and teleported with no risk - for free.
I know this discussion has been done so many times, and it won't be fixed. This game should've lasted 16 minutes if zerg had actual units to strategize with.
And all the people saying the zerg won, yes he won, wouldn't you expect someone that's 12 times better to win ? it's not an excuse, just ability-wise he should've won at the 16 minute mark tops.

Shame that you watch these before you show them, would be really cool if you actually didnt watch them. Which, i mean you dont know whats in them unless you watch them, someone sending you replays its hard telling what they could put in them. Maybe only take them from a certain person you trust or get someone to work for you and have them go through all the replays, its pretty obvious that you've seen them before even though i think its marketed as you having not seen them.
at its best this game is close to be close, in fact terran sucks all the game and had no chance
I’m so glad we don’t have things like “Zerg” in real life I couldn’t imagine fighting bugs that fly and are under the ground and can pop up out of nowhere anywhere at anytime and uses parasites and fungus spores to control you while eating you alive. Hell some of the stuff we have is already terrifying enough when it comes to parasites,fungus,bugs and bacteria. Some of the stuff we have is truly terrifying like right out of a horror movie or video game lol
And not to mention anything “spider like” stuff of nightmares
Feels like he did way too many baneling and 33 lings with gland would had made the job way better as baneling sux against mech and only serve to kill hellion
But this game was a treat thanks for the great content 🙂
