How someone turned an intense fast-paced shooter into this simple slow-paced platformer is beyond me. Replacing models with custom ones is one thing, but turning a genre into another... Whoever did this must be an expert in game engines and modding.
1:49 As soon as I saw those random crates piled on top of one another I expected misty to either shoot a bolt of magic to destroy those crate and collect the gems inside or magicly carry the crate around like silver from sonic 06 before reminding myself that it's not the kind of game to have much action in it.
It is beyond baffling that Serious Engine is even capable of things like this and Croteam never sought a market for different types of games for it. To see it thrown aside and discontinued in favor of the homogenous, corporate Unreal.. ..as much as I really don't wanna give praise to friggin MLP, especially coming to 2025, there's no denying the talent that went into this. Sure, at a glance it's pretty bog standard platforming and rudimentary text boxes, but I can't imagine the amount of scripting and reworking the functionalities of code that's more or less been set in stone since 2003.. But ponies or not, I will be thoroughly invested in what this developer cooks up. Maybe one day Croteam can look at this and the dev can publish an entire game using what's all left of SE. Give it some makeover in its own IP. Let the engine have some last glimmer of light before it's totally obsolete.
I mention this because If Princess Luna was terrified of her fear, what did the alter ego create and torment her about? Why not make a sequel but what is Opaline Misty's greatest fear?
I didn't really consider this project to be something like Luna Game but that's an interesting idea! I actually wanted it to be a bit more story-focused and the base plot was (and kinda still is) that Misty is collecting memories she made with her friends to "fight" her evil self. And Opaline was planned to appear sometimes somewhere in the distance in the form of a dark silhouette.

For a while I was expecting a stallion caring duel wield mini uzis.

The World has been waiting for this for a long time LOL.

...my dude, you have an anthro fish dragon as an avatar, I don't think a furry has any right to talk down on MLP
never heard of serious sam. This just looks like a G5 game leak
Hmm? Serious Sam fusion Pony?
Sorry for what I'm going to say but is it just my idea or does this lend itself to a horror game like luna game.exe was?
I mention this because

Of course, the fact that it is a supposedly false virus or malware is optional.
