- My heart is broken. Our sweet boy, Dash "lavvy girl" passed away this week after a tragic accident. Please send love to Sierra and Chris who were the most incredible parents to Dash, I couldn't have chose more amazing people to raise him. We love you so much buddy, always. 💜 The revenue from this video will be donated to The Seattle Humane Society in memory of our Lavender angel.

I never posted this when you guys were raising Lark's puppies, but I rescued my dog because of your videos.
Ive known I wanted a husky since I was a kid but I always hesitated. While watching your journey, I finally made the decision to get my own place and start making preparations to get a dog.
Well, lo and behold. A few months later, I got a text about a litter of husky/German sheperd mixes in a home that was struggling to feed all the puppies and needed to get rid of them as soon as possible.
I only had her for three days before she started showing symptoms of parvovirus. I named her Artemis while waiting for the emergency care vet because she needed a name to check in. She spent 3 days in special observation and quarantine before she was allowed to come home.
I fully believe if I hadn't adopted her right when I did, she wouldn't have made it, but she made a full recovery.
Artemis is now a year and eight months old. She just graduated from intermediate training. She has a million toys and makes friends with literally everyone she meets.
All because you guys decided to put up your videos and share your amazing journey with us.
Losing an animal you bonded with is an incredibly painful experience and wanted to say I'm really sorry for your loss. But also, I wanted to say thank you, because the good you guys did goes so much farther than raising and giving each of those puppies to wonderful loving homes.

I lost my cat few years ago. He got hit by a car on the same day I rescued him the year before. The day I picked him from the cremator a double rainbow appeared. It was like he was saying mom im ok. I believe animals go to a special place and we will see them again. My heart goes out to Joey and You. And Dashs family.

I can’t find the words to express how sorry I am. They are never ever just a dog. They are family. They are pure, true love. I was sobbing right along with you. Because I know. I know that pain. Losses like this are so hard, especially when you can't see them coming. I lost my own dog at only 3 years old to leptospirosis a few years ago, and it's SO difficult and unfair, especially when they're so young. Dogs are our babies, and even though we know we're likely to outlive them, that doesn't make it easier. Everything you said is true: make sure your pup has EVERY vaccine your vet recommends, double-check their harnesses (and put a back-up collar on them!), give them their heartworm preventative, and give them all the hugs you can fit in a day.

Few months ago I lost my dog at 2.5 years old to a blood clot it still hurts and I miss him so much. It wasn’t fair and I still hurt and question everything to this day. He was so young and the pain losing a pet is hard especially so young, I thought I’d have many mire years with him. This month is hard cause a few days ago would of been his birthday

I didn’t even watch this puppy series, but my heart sank watching this. I cannot fathom the day I have to say goodbye to my dog whom I have had for 8 years and has been with me through heartbreak, and multiple moves, multiple states, road trips, vacations, loss, happy times, sad times, being pregnant, bringing home my son for the first time from the hospital, memories between him and my son (his brother)…. I wish we could have forever with our dogs. They are truly so pure and amazing ❤️🥺
Snuggling with my pup while typing this with tears streaming down my face. I dread the day I lose him, especially with him getting on in the years and cant even imagine what Sierra and Chris are going through. Alfie (my pup) and I are sending our love to the millions of broken hearts.

@@galaxywolf9650 Total speculation, but deducing from the words used, I’d say he was hit by a car, after either breaking out of his yard, or getting away from his owners when on the leash. Terribly sad regardless, but the self blame that comes in these scenarios (whether it was Dash’s COD or not) really piles on to the grief. I’m so sorry for their loss, whatever the cause they loved and cared for their fluffy family member.

I’m so sorry Daniel, it’s so hard to loose a pup, I recently had to say goodbye to my 14 year old German Shepard Todd, that wound will never fully heal and it will definitely leave a scar but scars are always beautiful and tell the most beautiful stories. Your scar happens to be tinted the colour lavender :) 💜
I had to put my 14 year old down almost 3 years go ..I still cry here and there and think about him daily I adopted two angels since but there is always a void in my heart

Theres nothing worse than the pain of losing a puppy, especially in a freak accident. I had a German Shepard husky mix that I rescued, and she quickly became my emotional support animal. Then one day while on one of our usual hikes, I made the mistake of letting someone else hold her leash. They let go because she started pulling, and she ran right off of a cliff. Thankfully I was able to scale down the mountain and be with her when she left, but that's a hole in my heart that will never be filled. I only had her for 2 years, but I'll carry her with me forever. #baileyjo
This is so devastating. Lavvy was my favorite puppy, and his life was far too short. But he had an amazing two years on earth and the best foster dads and parents a dog could ever ask for. He was so loved and made so many people happy. His life was meaningful. I wish you all peace as you work through this grief, and just know you are not alone. 💜

It's hard when you lose a loved pet, I lost my childhood cat a few weeks ago. I keep thinking i'll see him curled up on the couch or meowing for attention but he's gone. They've crossed the rainbow bridge and are no longer in any pain.
I lost my dog last Sunday and she was everything I could have hoped for in a dog & more. Losing her has been the hardest thing. I'm sorry for your loss of a childhood pet, that seems so hard 😔 💔

I had a tabby cat named leo. He lived with us 3 years since he was a baby . to this day i cant look at his pictures or videos without crying.. He was born with a bad heart and i still cry when i think of him . my only relief is knowing he's waiting in heaven for my mom and i ❤
