Brando is a self-centered little pipsqueak. And the parents enabled that, especially the father. Remember when they let Brando sleep with his girlfriend in his bedroom, but they had an absolute meltdown when Brenda slept with Dylan a year later.

I could understand her parents wanting to go to college. My parents told my silblings and I, we either go to college or work full-time. However, it shouldn't be pushed into her, esp if she wants to be actress. U dont need college for that, that it all depends on who u know, if u have the looks, and talent. If she goes to college, it should be something useful or get a job. I don't get what Brandon has to do with her moving back in.
Because she always wanted to go to college. Cant just quit because she had a rough experience with a particular collage. Any parents would want their smart daughter to attend college. Acting dosent always garnerntree work for many.
idk why jim is pressuring her to go to school so much. it's really not best to pressure kids early. sometimes unless they[re already certain about their career goals & have been since HS, it's best to let them work couple of yrs to get it out of their system. holding down a job & paying for what you want is the fastest way to grow up.
Back in 90's and 2000's, kids were told they "have to go to college." Which is partly to blame for all the student debt many now owe. Many degrees are useless.
I knew a few kids whose parents were constantly hounding them to bring up their grades for uni despite that they generally kept scraping by. Oddly, my mother had these antiquated notions that doing a diploma program at community college with "good looks" and finding the right man was more important. Sometimes I wonder if it would have been better to take her advice rather than squirrel away money for uni.
This part still makes me so mad at especially Jim more worried about Brandon as always then Brenda. We all know in Jim's eyes Brandon is the perfect child but truth is he's far from perfect a few examples 1. snuck his girlfriend in his room and made out with her when she came to visit 2. drove drunk and got locked up 3. had a major gambling problem and Jim overlooked all those things but if Brenda just breathes wrong it's like Jim has a fit.
and may I add, drove drunk, POTENTIALLY could have killed someone in that collision, and got locked up. also instrumental in blocking the construction of that mall in season 2, which would potentially create hundreds of new jobs in the community. never stood by his sister with enough support during the dylan and kelly betrayel. didn't believe his sister during the randolf rumors.

Jim's line about Mrs. Lincoln is great. Also, Jim and Cindy are the best parents. They listened and worked with her. Also, Brenda did the right thing by cancelling classes in time to get that 90 percent. She should have been an accountant like her dad.
This conversation is exactly why Jim and Cindy were horrible parents. They never supported Brenda at all. They asked her to talk to them and she told them in detail that she didn't like the classes, the people, the dorm, etc. She didn't like it. And instead of being supportive, they act like she's the problem. It was such great writing in the show that Brenda turned depressed in season 4 because - of course - any normal person would get depressed with horrible unsupportive parents like that and a horrible friends like that.
She was only there for two weeks, and classes hadn't even started yet. She was very negative the whole time about EVERYTHING. Darla tried to get her included in the activities on campus, but she rathered sulk in her room. She never gave it a chance.
I actually ran into the guy who was playing the role of the news boss. He had come to a restaurant where I was a waiter. He annoyed me so much on that video that I slapped him right there and got arrested.
slapping that actor was out of line. He was only playing a character. I wish he had been brought permanently. Josh and Andrea were so much alike it would have been perfect for them to be together.
in no order the characters I wanted on the college years 90210--Josh Richland, Henry from the beach club, D'Shawn Hardell, Erica--Dylan's little sister, Mike Ryan, Kyle Conners. Roger Azarian. It would have been so much more interesting with them.
I still fail to comprehend how it is a problem for Brandon if Brenda is back. Like if they haven’t shared a house until the week prior
I think he just got to liking the drama free house, but they were so close, he got over it.
Exactly
Didn’t he take over her room as well? Kind of turned it into a mini apartment
It's insane. Jim is horrible.

They really should have all sat down together instead of standing there and all that swiveling around...it's making me dizzy just looking at it!
what was the article andrea had to write???
If memory serves me correct, it was about a review of the Peach Pit. The day that she goes wasn't a good day for Nat.
