Bob Books Workbooks | Teaching Your Child to Read | Emerging Readers & Developing Readers Workbooks

For the school year OR even the summer months, these workbooks are so helpful with teaching your child how to read and write! Both Scholastic’s “Bob Books Emerging Readers” AND “Bob Books Developing Readers” workbooks have been a great success with all four of my kids when they were in the stage of learning to read (typically age 5). They make a perfect addition to any Kindergarten OR First Grade Curriculum. Great for homeschooling OR even non-homeschooling - every child needs to learn how to read and these books are a fun tools to help with the process.

When my now 10 y/o was in kindergarten we would check the Bob Books books out from the library. I never knew they had workbooks. Such a great resource!

We’ve used the Bob Books some over the years, but I’ve not seen the workbooks. I love how they are laid out and colorful. I may just add these in with my youngest daughter!

I really like the Bob Books. They are colorful, engaging, and each section has a theme or story line that allows for repetition which is crucial to give the child "home" words, words that are comfortable and memorable. I like the stickers in the back to give the child a sense of accomplishment and completion.
