You've packed really nice boxes. I love doing shoeboxes for Operation Christmas child. Did you know you can remove the packaging (apart from soap which is preferred to be kept in original packaging this year) which frees up more space for more goodies? I like to add a soft toy to all my boxes. I like to do the 2-4 and 10-14 age groups as they get less boxes usually. So glad you included school supplies- in some countries children can't go to school unless they provide their own books, pens and pencils. This year two thirds of the UK boxes are going to the Ukraine and surrounding countries that have provided refuge for the Ukranian families, so the hat and gloves will be very much appreciated. 💕
We do this every year with my church.
I crochet and knit so I make a lot of handing crafts.
Such a great idea, we used to do this when our boys were children brought back memories We have done a similar thing with our church in the past. Now we give to the Salvation Army each Christmas they do amazing work too.

It’s so lovely we got a couple from our church and we write letters to a little girl out there too. It’s so lovely they get a bible after they open their boxes to learn more about Jesus and many believe and our saved.

Yes it is a big thing in US. I did many toddler boxes. Toothbrush, washcloth, pencil case with some pencils and sharpener and eraser. Crayon and coloring book. Cinch sack, cup spoon and bowl, Plush, pink bounce ball, car. The girls also got Chelsea size doll and boys got squishy finger puppets. I also send fillers of plush, Uno games and school supplies. I put a notebook and color pencil in a bag or a spiral notebook and pack of pens in a bag. Sometimes a person puts in an item that will not go through customs so something is needed to take its place so the child doesn’t end up with an empty box. So if a person checking the box sees toothpaste needs to be taken out they will grab something for from a filler station. Forbidden items vary by sending country. Two years ago they went to Georgia and last year Philippines and Guatemala. I did different age boxes and they must have gone to different places.
Be sure to put your soap 🧼 bar inside of a ziploc bag because they melt in high temperature 🌡 climates
