Probably a little late to ask this question but do you or anyone else looking at the comment section have any suggestions around subscribing to Adobe for additional space to store camera photos when doing something like described in this video. Seems when i try something like this i quickly run out and the photos stop downloading. Super great video for this topic! Very clear and easy to follow. Thank you for taking the time to make and post the video!
Can I please ask a question, if I have imported images into Lightroom Classic & synced them to Lightroom cloud but now have turned off syncing as I didn’t want them all in the cloud…..can I delete the ones that are in the cloud? Will they get deleted from Lightroom Classic as well? (I have reorganized my collections in Lightroom Classic so will recsync with my sorted ones but I’m worried if I delete the ones in the cloud I’ll lose the ones in Classic too?
It's very silly, but unchecking/unsyncing the collection on classic, selecting all the photos in the collection, then going to the "all synced photos" folder in classic and right clicking and choosing the option "remove all selected images from all synced photos". Wait for that to sync up to the cloud, then delete from lightroom cloud, then go back to LR classic and resync the collection. They reeeeeeaaaallly just want you to buy more space.
@@DomDomMartin What a pain. Its clear they are driving to buy more space. In doing so, its easier for me to pay for MS Office including 1TB of one drive and use that to get my photos to my primary computer. Like most pro photographers, the goal is to get the photo to its final resting spot and then cull, edit, publish and backup from there. If this were easier in Adobe, they would have my all business instead of split with Microsoft.

I cant sync my images from LR classic to mobile.
I am not sure why you don’t just leave in date folders and create location collections and organise that way?
This is all well and good, but how do you get Lightroom CC space to be released. I have done this same thing and the used space in the cloud remains.
Have you tried this; helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/delete-files-permanently.html

Lol, it's all about the money.
