You are clueless about UI/UX. It is much much more than compiling layouts and choosing typography and color schema. Surface level design can be done by a middle schooler. Deep design is how Products that change the world are designed. What AI can do Task or Functional Analysis, as any artificial intelligence is based on syntactical inference rather than semantical. What AI will do qualitative user research which is central to formative iterations? The ideal division of labour between man and machine is that man does the thinking, the semantical analysis while the machine does the organisation of the space and at most syntactical analysis. GUYS DON'T GET SCARED.
First of all, if you're so enthu about upcoming tech, then you should understand their is a difference between UI and UX, sorry you can't use two different terms altogether. And it's a tool, if any designer can use such AI tools smartly then you'll eventually growth in your profile.

working in realistic environment of IT company I think it's hard for AI to understand needs of clients and bring up the changes... we humans have a lot shit demands in our head UI/UX is hard to breakout.. it can be a helpful tool for small app design and web application but industry level products its hard to match the business needs...so ui ux designer don't worry

@@shivasishgarg9001 Unfortunately I think we are on the unlucky period where there will be mass unemployment, political reforms and other "stuff" will happen, but will eventually pave way to a more egalitarian type society, every new change is met with resistance, so ofc there will be some resistance in some form or the other. I don't think the progress of AI will stop anytime soon, on the rather it is going to increase, those who will not embrace are going to be technologically inferior in the future (nations) and remember we live in a profit driven society not a welfare one. On the other hand AI is also helping develop drugs against cancer, strokes and against other deadly diseases , so I think in the short term it may not have much a positive impact , but in the long term it is good for the humanity as a whole.

AI cannot design something on its own until some artworks are feeded in it. my story is a little funny when it's about ai. the story goes like, tbh understanding the clients requirements is way too necessary for this and yk what i was just randomly asking some questions to gemini(Google's ai). Sam altman has publicly said the dev salary market is going to correct itself - 30k$ for a ios app or few hundred dollar subscription to a giant - as a business the later will be more sensible. Think how shopify took out a really fat chunk of custom ecom development. AI is going to do this to all digital services in upcoming years. Be it design, marketing, development.

@@shivasishgarg9001 Unfortunately I think we are on the unlucky period where there will be mass unemployment, political reforms and other "stuff" will happen, but will eventually pave way to a more egalitarian type society, every new change is met with resistance, so ofc there will be some resistance in some form or the other.
I don't think the progress of AI will stop anytime soon, on the rather it is going to increase, those who will not embrace are going to be technologically inferior in the future (nations) and remember we live in a profit driven society not a welfare one. On the other hand AI is also helping develop drugs against cancer, strokes and against other deadly diseases , so I think in the short term it may not have much a positive impact , but in the long term it is good for the humanity as a whole.

if ai takes up my ui design job, i will just start charging people for making their website using ai. Because believe me when I say this, the non-tech person who wants a website will rather pay you than go and try a 10 iterations on any AI website.

AI is designed in such a way that when some art works are feeded in it, a new art piece is digitally created using the old art piece which was already made by a human itself... AI cannot design something on its own until some artworks are feeded in it. So dont compare an designer with AI, design is a completely different field than other careers.Not everyone can be a great designer it takes hardwork , passion , time and dedication.

Ux is basically a job ensuring smooth and seamless human and machine interaction, ux researchers are user representatives, they doa lot of research, studying user painpoints and coming up with innovative interactions, it's much more complex than you think, it's about team work, hours of brainstorming with devs, pms and software engineers everyone works together, If a company has good ux literacy it will priorities them all the same, working for a company with poor ux literacy is never my goal
EMPATHY IS THE HEART OF UX, a lm could never have empathy it's a human characterstic, we're even moving towards 3d interactions their requirement will only increase.

Also ai art is still not safe for commercial use it has many copyright and ownership issues, it's a final output format so making small tweaks will be hard, assistive ai tools would be way more useful for ux designers, efficient to build perona, collecting data, data driven user research is much easier thanks to ai, I'm only seeing things working in my favour thanks to ai

Ux is research, empathy, brainstorming and piwersolving, maintaining a good seamless experience for the users, they're user's representation in STEM. Ux is way more research, interviews and strategising than it it is designing pretty pictures.

Sam altman has publicly said the dev salary market is going to correct itself - 30k$ for a ios app or few hundred dollar subscription to a giant - as a business the later will be more sensible. Think how shopify took out a really fat chunk of custom ecom development. AI is going to do this to all digital services in upcoming years. Be it design, marketing, development.
