Hello! I have been watching your videos for probably the last month. The thought of candle making literally just fell into my lap. I wasn’t necessarily looking for it. Actually I was YouTubing how to make a concrete counter top and then stumbled upon your videos. I became interested and just couldn’t stop watching haha. I started looking into a lot of candle making things and it got a bit overwhelming, so I decided to take a break from looking at things. Well the next day I went for a run in the morning and I had tripped and fell straight to the ground lol. I was a little discouraged but also laughing at myself. Anyway, that same day that I tripped I went to go check out your channel. I was stunned when toward the end of your video you said “I tripped and fell while on a jog”. Instantly I became teary. As crazy as it sounds I think it was confirmation from the Lord for me to continue pursuing this candle making. So far I have made a few concrete jars, come up with a name for a potential business, and have started testing candles. I really appreciate all of what you put on here. Know that I believe in the Lord and I believe he is placing you right where you need to be. Your content is amazing!
Oh my goodness! I truly believe in signs such as that! I'm so glad you stumbled upon my videos. Thank you for the kind message. I hope you are enjoying the process and wish you nothing but the best!
I’m curious about doing different jars, especially glass. I make tins. I’ve made glass, but never tried to sell them. I’ve been wanting to make different ones too. Can’t leave things alone! Haha.
Congrats on the large candle order - that is so cool! What also caught my attention was the wax curing - I have some custys that can be a bit impatient and it's nice to know something like that exist. I still use the sponge to add sealer to my vessel cause it's kind of relaxing and not so messy 🙈
When you pour vessels in the winter do you have a heater in your room? Does it take longer to cure during the colder season? I’m in NY and winter gets brutal up here I’ll be pouring in the garage should I use a heater? Sorry soo many questions
I’m in Southern California and our winters are pretty mild. I do pour in my house though, so I have control over the temperature. That’s a great question. You may want to look into some type of heater if it’s going to be really cold in the garage.
HI-I follow your video every time and thank you for your sharing experience. I have a question.I use titanium for making withe cement but when i mixed it with correct percent .The cement"s color didnt change .Could you please tell me what i have to do .Thankyou
Thanks for watching! Hmm.. how much are you adding? When making my vessels, I add 3g of TD to 850g of Cement-All and I can see a nice difference in the color.
Thank you for your reply.I add 5% titanium to mortar gray cement .I bought it from Globmarbel. Could you please tell me when you mix grey cement with Titanium it changed to white color .If yes please let me know which supply you prepare and how many percent mix it and even your pigment Best truly . @@calafiacandleco
It depends on what kind of order it is. For wholesale, I charge half of the retail price. For other large orders where they aren't intending to sell my products in a store or anything like that, I charge full price. If it's a large bulk order, I would also consider giving a small discount off the total price (like 5%).
y como siempre gracias por compartir

Love your haircut!
Thanks so much! :)
I would love to see you testing out those jars. And I considered trying the olive oil wax, so that would be great to see as well.
Noted!
I can’t imagine making even one video! Breaks are super important. Glad you got to go on a vacation. No need to reply! 😀
I was in a totally rut too. It’s helpful to hear you explain why it’s not a bad thing. Thank you
Of course!! 🤍
It's so important to refresh! YASSSS 🙌💫
Que bueno verte y si es más hermosas tus velas May por fuera !!
Thanks for watching!

Also I want to add that the same day that I tripped and fell was the same day that you had posted your video…which is also why I was so stunned

Thank you!! Right! Me too. I am super excited to test the cure time.
Oh yes, I am so sorry, I forgot about this too....that is a HUGE deal, congratulations!

Thank you! Thanks for watching!
Can you show the bottom of the aqua vessel?
Out of interest does the preserver/sealer enhance the colors in the concrete at all or does it dry back down?
I don’t notice a difference in colors when it’s all dry

Hey stranger! Glad you're feeling more like yourself 🙌💗
What do you charge for large orders? How you calculate what to charge for big orders ?
Thank you !

Why did I not think of the Tupperware containers to store molds😅
Such a space saver!! I don’t know why it took me so long 😂
Always take a break when you need one! ❤
Amen to that! ❤️
