I think he stays until Ryan Day is gone. I expect Brian to be our next head coach when the time comes.

I went to Glenoak HS and ran track with him and his brother Mike and they were both amazing athletes. They both won the D-1 hurdles state championships in back to back years. I won championships in the 4X400 with them so that just tells you how good they really are as athletes. Those were great times and they were great people to be around and learn from. Ohio State is in great hands!!!

The closest thing to a failure, was Antwaan Jameson having to leave to become an All American.

Hey Hartline how about staying out of the south and quit poaching our receivers.

lol it’s called recruiting. Crying that he’s “poaching” is hilarious.

If your conference is so great why are you worried? Or jealous? Plenty of Midwest players end up playing everywhere. The starting RB on Urban Meyers Florida Championship Team was from Ohio. Mark Ingram (Heisman Trophy Winner) Alabama was from Michigan.

Ohio State has been a National Brand taking recruits from all over the country going back decades & decades. One of my favorite OSU WRrs of all time is from Belle Glade, FL..Santonio Holmes..Super Bowl MVP..formed a mega duo with Ted Ginn Jr. Don't know how the three major Florida Powers let Tone get out of Florida! Of course the Sunshine state has WRs for days..especially in the late 90's early 2000s when all three top schools were cooking, but that was a major error in not prioritizing Holmes.
Ironically, until recently Ohio State hadn't had much luck in their Florida WR recruits panning out as expected. Albert Dukes was Holmes' HS homie who never played meaningful snaps in Columbus. Cris Carter's son Duron Carter from STA & Torrance Gibson (American Heritage) were both five stars who were supposed to be megastars like JJ, but washed out due to off the field stuff before their college careers even began. Trevon Grimes (St Thomas Aquinas) was another prized 5 Star who got homesick & transferred to Florida after FR season. And burners James Clark (New Smryna Beach), James Louis (Delray Beach), Riquan Southward (Lakeland) never panned out either.
It was only Johnnie Dixon (Palm Beach Gardena) who managed to break through some bad knee injuries to play at a high level at Ohio State. Now we have the South Florida Express pipeline flowing nicely with Carnell Tate from IMG by way of Chi-town, Hollowood Brandon Innis and of course the next GOAT Jeremiah 'JJ' Smith. So let us have our success with those FL guys because we've struck out with a lot of dudes lol.

Us winning the national championship had absolutely nothing to do with us playing the McChicken Wolverines! We whooped everybody's ass after
that. it fueled us to do what we did in the national championship drop the mic!
