A precious little baby boy, such a sweet blessing. We get who the Lord gives us. We have one Grandson and 10 granddaughters and we have 5 girls ourselves. My last daughter just found out she is having a baby boy. I can't wait but would have been just as excited for another baby girl. God is good! Healthy babies are all that matter.

My mother in law used to say that also…as long as they are healthy. After our fourth son, I think some kind of pitied us, but they have been such a blessing.

Hey guys! I actually just randomly stumbled upon your account, which is so timely as we just had our gender reveal on Saturday March 23, ALSO finding out we were having our 4th boy! So much of what you guys shared resonated with me as I’ve completely experienced all of it. Thank you for your authenticity but also remaining thankful and glorifying God in it all. He really does know what he’s doing and each child is such a blessing. I’ve yearned for a daughter ever since I was a young girl so I’ve honestly questioned “why, God?” Many times. But having faith is going beyond what we understand and trusting that He has everything working together for the good of those who love Him. I think our boys may be similar ages too by the looks. We have a 6 (almost 7) year old, 5 year old, and 22 month old. Next guy is due in Sept! What a privilege and gift to raise mighty men of God, future leaders! And also for them to have such special bonds with one another. Lots of love from Australia x
P.s. I said to my husband - at least one of these boys will surely give me a granddaughter one day! Then we joked of them ALL having girls and maybe we’ll be totally swamped in the future haha!

Congratulations! All of your feelings and reactions are so normal! When I was pregnant with my first I was DESPERATE for a girl until my hairdresser told me “boys always love there mamas so much”. It softened my heart and I was ready for either one. I ended up having a boy and I’m so glad. I’d be honored to have 3 more just like him❤

Not because that boy would be loved any less, but because I'd be sad that we'd never experience what it would be like to have a daughter! Congratulations to you guys! My beloved paternal grandmother who was my best friend and lived to be 98, had nine boys and one girl, who was number seven, in the sibling lineup. Bumma Bain was Mother-of-the-Year in VA in 1966, and my dear dad, the crème-de-la-crème, was the eldest. He and my mom had six girls and one boy. I have twin sons and two younger daughters. Now my children are having babies. Sons are immense blessings! Mine are my best friends!

My daughter has 4 girls! Their dad is one of 5 boys and we figured he would have boys. He is the perfect girl dad! And Sutton you are the perfect mom for all those boys! You both have a big responsibility to raise God fearing men to know how to treat women and be good husbands and fathers. What a blessing!

Congrats on another little boy! I totally understand. I was the same after finding out my second (which I thought was our last bio baby) was a boy also. It's like your grieve the idea of what it would be like. But after the initial response I also did a 180 change and I enjoyed my second boy so much. Then after two foster babies we had another bio baby and it was a girl. Pregnant again now, don't know gender yet but excited to see what God has in store. Love you all. God bless. X0

Congratulations! I have 2 boys and was a single mom from the time they were young. I love the noise in the background! Boy noise is the best! I would be on the phone with friends and they would always ask me if everything was ok because of the noise. They are playing!

There’s a word in Korean that describes this emotion! It’s not disappointment but it’s the longing of what could’ve been and being realizing that it won’t be. Thanks for being honest about your authentic reactions. I think it is understandable that you have had a dream of having a girl. The opposite experience, the daughter who looks up to her dad, and mom and daughter girl time. These boys will bring daughter in laws into your lives. Maybe if you develop a special bond with them it will be strengthening to your whole family dynamic.

Hey, I love you guys so I’ll be blunt. When I was where you guys are at, I thought I had some control over this baby thing … you guys read your Bible!!I know you do!!! Who opens the womb?!?! So who determines the gender? Hey, I even know a couple who had the op (taking things into your own hands). They ended up with a reversal (conviction) and having one more child who has been a huge blessing!

God does know what's best we have all girls and if it's safe for me to have another I am not going to lie would love a boy however would be incredibly greatful for another girl to. God has called you to be boy parents and there is nothing wrong with that at all ! He knows you are the best to raise a group of boys ! I understand what you're saying about the shock of the gender reveal. I'm the oldest in my family and I always wanted a sister. As a girl, I would pray every night that God would give me a sister. When my youngest brother was born, I initially remember the slight disappointment that I would probably never have a sister. However, I loved him dearly, and I wouldn't want it any other way. God never answered my prayer for a sister, but he took away the desire, and he blessed me with wonderful girl friends.
Fast forward to 11 months ago and I got blessed with a daughter. It was so special to me since I always hoped to have a daughter. God truly knows what's best for your family.
I love y’all’s honesty. I always thought I’d have a girl first. I miscarried my first and I really feel like she’s a girl. My rainbow baby was a boy. I prayed and prayed for him after years of infertility and loss. But I still felt disappointed when I found out he was a boy. And I did cry 😆 but obviously he came and I wouldn’t have it any other way but I get it. I got a late start because of the struggle with infertility and loss. We’re trying for one more and I really pray I have a girl! Thank you guys for sharing and congrats!

Comments like this annoy me so much. Some people don’t want 5 kids. Some people don’t only have kids for a certain gender. They said they wanted 4 kids. I hope you always wanted 5 kids and didn’t just have another to “try for a girl” .
@@AM-bs1eu They were clearly a little disappointed that they didn’t have a girl. We did try again for a fifth because we wanted a girl. Perhaps that wouldn’t work for you and your family but it did for us. It was just a little encouragement for them. Obviously they are grown adults who can make up their own minds whether they truly want to stop now or consider having another. Furthermore, they made it plain that they really wanted a girl. Let’s try not to be so testy with strangers on the internet 🥴🥴
