Barn Owl Nest box live webcam ....2nd of 5 eggs hatched an Owlet called “Echo”

This live feed is from a Barn Owl nest box in the Peak District, England, fitted with a live Barn Owl webcam!
1st Owlet hatched 04/06/2024 - Named for now "River".
2nd Owlet hatched 07/06.2024 - Named "Echo"
Bella and Buster have moved nest boxes several times after being chased by a Tawny owl. If you want to watch the Tawny owl chasing them, please watch my video playlist. They have finally settled on this nest box I've made from an old whisky barrel fitted with 4K CCTV cameras to share these beautiful Barn Owls with you live and online.
Buster is the owl roosting during the day on a perch at the top of Bella’s box. He has a ring on his right leg, which helps identify him. Bella is the owl in the main image.
The first egg was laid around the 4th of May 2024, then subsequently every 2-3 days.
Buster will need to step up to his new role of "hunter-gatherer" and provide voles for Bella as she incubates the eggs and raises the owlets. Let's hope Buster steps up to the mark. Each time Buster brings Bella a food gift (usually a mouse or a vole), he will mount and mate with Bella as his “reward.” This is Mother Nature's way of helping ensure the pair has owlets.
