People are completely misunderstanding emotional connection in one piece. One piece story being emotional is one thing, and artstyle making it hard for characters to emote is a different thing. Story has to do the heavy lifting of emotions is what I meant.

I feel a lot of anime fans are more combative but less communicative when it comes to discussing anime. If I had a penny for every comment I see on any platform that says "X anime is mid/X anime L" with no further elaboration as to why they feel that way I'd be a millionaire. I'd seen a reel recently where the person had their Berserk hardbacks on display in the background and one of the comments just said "Berserk L" and hundreds of comments asking the person, politely might I add, to explain their reasoning but they responded to every comment with hate comments. Its not a healthy way to talk about any medium or art form you enjoy and it only shows that media literacy or at least fair and good faith criticism is vanishing more and more.

I don't know about one piece yet Because i only watched it arlong park yet episode 42 or 43 something but i can say about detective Conan that people are not watching it just because it's too long even long than one piece but after watching 300+ episodes i can absolutely say that detective Conan is a masterpiece and criminally underrated you should give it a try even just 1 or 2 episodes a day but just start and give it a try believe me you won't regret

What I felt is it's not about too long, but most of the eps are crap but they are not termed as fillers. As one starts in an episode at least some moments must be shown in continuation we get that fight resumed after 3-4 episodes what's the point then. Overall there are some important episodes in every arc and boring meaningless episodes too in every arc. Best way to watch it is don't skip the episodes but watch important scenes and 2x forward the boring scenes in the middle.
This is my hot take (I missed the notification). Yosuga no Sora is a great anime but people wrongly accuse it to be a bad anjme... just 'cause it has incest!!? How I look at it is very different. I feel like this anime is a metaphorical story of what foreigners (or at least the people who don't belong to that place) feel when they move to that part (for foreingers, it's japan). I think the incest here used as a tool to symbolise different culture, etiquettes that are different from that place. Think about it. As an indian, we have our own customs and traditions which is far different from Japan, so there can be some things which aren't seen in a good light over there (namingly, we use our hands to eat while they use chopsticks. So naturally, japanese people will fill uncomfortable when they see you eat). If you watch interviews of foreigners who go to Japan and from far of place, they often face discrimination. And it was even more prevalent in older times. So, that's why I think *Yosuga no Sora is actually the telling of a story from the point of view from "outsiders" when they move to that place* And besides, _it's not like people haven't watch game of throwns... which also had incest..._

I loved the show but it's try Fandom is cringe. but same goes to jjk and fandom should not be a face of anime. I've heard about season 6 being awesome and I might watch it again. sometimes it's good but not great but I don't hate MHA. after all this anime started my anime journey
MHA had the potential to be one of the best shonen anime, but it got wasted. The reason is that the author didnt try to take risks in the while killing of characters early on(all might should have died while fighting all for one) . Also it has huge pool of side characters, which is its biggest strength. But most of them haven't been flushed out properly(i didnt read the manga so i might be wrong), and also deku is such a boring protagonist. its like everything is handed out to him. I really liked it when he became a vigilant. that was really cool. but the author just decided to end it very early. One more thing is and i think its a me problem but i don't feel any dread towards the dark moments of some characters. like i didn't feel anything towards shigaraki's backstory even though he goes through some messed up shit.

What I felt is it's not about too long, but most of the eps are crap but they are not termed as fillers. As one starts in an episode at least some moments must be shown in continuation we get that fight resumed after 3-4 episodes what's the point then.
Overall there are some important episodes in every arc and boring meaningless episodes too in every arc.
Best way to watch it is don't skip the episodes but watch important scenes and 2x forward the boring scenes in the middle.

Yosuga no Sora is a great anime but people wrongly accuse it to be a bad anjme... just 'cause it has incest!!?
How I look at it is very different. I feel like this anime is a metaphorical story of what foreigners (or at least the people who don't belong to that place) feel when they move to that part (for foreingers, it's japan).
I think the incest here used as a tool to symbolise different culture, etiquettes that are different from that place. Think about it. As an indian, we have our own customs and traditions which is far different from Japan, so there can be some things which aren't seen in a good light over there (namingly, we use our hands to eat while they use chopsticks. So naturally, japanese people will fill uncomfortable when they see you eat).
If you watch interviews of foreigners who go to Japan and from far of place, they often face discrimination. And it was even more prevalent in older times.
So, that's why I think *Yosuga no Sora is actually the telling of a story from the point of view from "outsiders" when they move to that place*
And besides, _it's not like people haven't watch game of throwns... which also had incest..._

MHA had the potential to be one of the best shonen anime, but it got wasted. The reason is that the author didnt try to take risks in the while killing of characters early on(all might should have died while fighting all for one) . Also it has huge pool of side characters, which is its biggest strength. But most of them haven't been flushed out properly(i didnt read the manga so i might be wrong), and also deku is such a boring protagonist. its like everything is handed out to him. I really liked it when he became a vigilant. that was really cool. but the author just decided to end it very early. One more thing is and i think its a me problem but i don't feel any dread towards the dark moments of some characters. like i didn't feel anything towards shigaraki's backstory even though he goes through some messed up shit.

My honest take - People should stop with this notion that just because they consume media like Vinland Saga , Berserk etc that doesn't make them intellectually superior to others... JJK 's purpose is to serve high octive fast paced action with likeable characters and i guess it does that very well...
As a Vinland fan, I can't help but laugh my balls out whenever I see an another Vinland fan fighting on social media regarding their fav shows. Like they never got the message of Vinland at all. Debating in a polite manner is fine, unless doing online debates has become your full-time job which obviously doesn't pay you shit!
I agree that jjk has a lot of fights and no stories, but that changes after chapter 210. Again, it's not a masterpiece but it's still good enough to keep you excited after chapter 210.

@@usersurajDto be honest Naruto has no major story and depth every character got that sad backstory everyguy is broken guy and that becomes good after talk no jutsu shit so many plot holes bad female cast and story felt after pain arc the war arc is garbage it's necessary in Naruto that you got a sad backstory and no uniqueness in character no parlllels dynamic depth etc
While op and bleach have uniqueness in character specially bleach ulquiorra represent complex human feeling stark loneliness yhwach fear of death ichigo self acceptance and so many more it's hard for surface level readers to complete go through op and bleach that's why Naruto bigger fan base as it's very easy to understand and nothing much great story and plots although it's below avg .
kaguya sama is the most overrated rom com imo .. its childish its repetitive and boring if it wasnt for characters like ishigami and fujiwara i woudnt have watched it ..

My hot take is not for any anime from 2023 but still: (NARUTO) SAKURA is not as trash as the fandom say she is still useful than Hinata and many other characters (she defeated shisui, she saved Naruto) on the other hand for me who has watched Naruto movie the last I can say that hinata is way more dumb and useless (as she was hanging on a scarf waiting for help despite she had chakra)
