Interesting side bar on The Battle for Normandy. I felt the same way. I need some randomness (friction) or something. That said, it’s a beautiful game and covers the entire Normandy campaign. The only other one at similar detail is GOSS and I’m simply not going to dig into that. That’s a tad too deep for me. So, I’ll keep my preorder up for TBFN and see what happens.
I love the OCS system. Logistics make it more realistic. It forces players to make their attacks more efficient and not just throw people and material at the enemy in low odds attacks. Then again, I was a supply sergeant in the real world army. I’m also in the spectrum, so there’s that too. 😅
The series of video tutorials I recomend is by OCS world, its slow but its highly detailed.
