I have seen incidences where teachers look as if they are bullying children. It almost feels okay for teachers to shout,grap and handle children in a wild way. Then,go ahead to handle the parents disrespectfully. Just do something around these kind of scenarios. Thanks.

Hello, BUMP LOVE. After Manuela spoke of the "thief" narrative in relation to confidence, it came to me that CONFIDENCE is a spirit.
Now, the scripture says God did not give us a spirit of fear but of power, including boldness/ confidence, love, and self-control.
Back to the thieves 😅, it's an evil spirit of wickedness in the heavenly places that works in that to gain the " confidence " to do evil 😈.
In conclusion, honourable members 😅😂 confidence comes from the Lord and who we're in Him. By the way, I'm very confident 🎉.

Wow,wow, wow. Ladies thank you for giving me a dose of self-awareness. I now understand my level of self confidence and what shutters it. I'm like Manuela. Failure shakes my self-confidence. There is a prestigious scholarship that I always wanted to apply for at Masters level. But I had to wait for at least three years. I wanted to first grow my career to a certain level, to associate with high profile professionals in my field so as to make it easy to get a good reference letter. And when I applied for it, I got it on the very first attempt. I either start and go all the way, or I don't start at all. If I were an animal, I would be a zebra. Zebras don't care for spots. I consider contentment. Contentment doesn't cancel desire, it cancels desperation and it doesn't mean that you have everything. While I don't become desperate in certain situations, I reserve my discernment to embrace what I desire because I very well know what I don't desire. This in turn builds my self-confidence.

Controlling the level of comparison is really healthy
Am at 6/10 this reminded me of my first at work as an accountant my boss make me feel like I was in the wrong career he is good at belittling others however I now know that I am the best accountant I can be now and I am going to be even better in time to come so now I can say as an accountant 8/10 confident ❤

For me, my confidence comes from within.
I believe in myself as an individual and never try to look like anybody.
If you surround yourself with people who make you feel bad, it lowers your self confidence so it's better to stay away from them and try to be around people who are positive because self confidence and positive attitude go hand in hand.

All these people who come to audition with their horrible voices and when the judges tell them they can not sing to save their lives, they say " but my parents told me I had an amazing voice". I love separating business and pleasure. I love it when people keep it professional and deliver 100% not half deliver because we know each other socially. I am like Barbara on the reading manuals and making sure things are put together right and then I am also a matriarch. 😅 I cannot think of an animal I relate to.
Self-confidence can be built from home, my parents really affirmed while disciplining me at the same time so much, and I got the confidence from there. There was so much love and lectures on everything.
I lost it along the way just a little, in a few things. There is a way society can shake things up when you are unprepared for the environment you are in. I lost confidence in some spaces in which I had no experience and had not invested. When you lack knowledge of things, you cannot have confidence there. Now, I work on those areas that I am weak in or need to improve. Prepare, read, study, get the training, and enrich yourself with things of interest that help you then confidence will be there. Failure also used to cripple me because I never knew you can try again and again. Now, I embrace it.
Speaking of great MCs, Malaika Nyanzi gave a great tip in one of those interviews about how she has always been confident and so good at what she does; she clearly stated that she always prepares well enough and covers her bases, leaving no stone unturned. So, because she has done her homework well, she has nothing to worry about on the delivery side. That helped me so much.
