Streetball doesn't easily translate to college and the pros. I suspect a lot of the streetball dudes managed to hold it together academically and get a spot in college. The coach adjusts their game, and the rest is history. Rafe is definitely a special case. I know Kenny Smith's brother has helped a lot of dudes get their shit together both on the court and off to prepare them. Unsung hero. I haven't thought about and1 in ages. God the late 90s and early 00s were great.
